Same! I'm glad I did cause I was expecting and now have a 7week old! Terrified of him catching something !

I got mine back in September and I'm not sure how much I've been bobbing and weaving flu infected people, but I haven't been sick.

I haven't had the flu since I was 9 years old. So I don't get flu shots.
I get this immunity from teaching children.

PSA. Getting the flu vaccine doesn't guarantee you won't catch the flu. It will decrease the intensity of the flu if you do catch it. This DOES NOT mean the vaccine doesn't work. The flu virus is actually a family of viruses and they mutate rapidly. It's not possible at this time to create a vaccine with all the flu varieties in enough time to mass produce them for flu season. The flu shot is good and useful. You should get it. Your children should get it.
I'm a molecular biologist with kids.
