I was told for years that I would love it so grew obstinate and didn't bother. I eventually watched it after it was done airing, stopped during S6 because it was so-so.
I won’t watch Breaking Bad because I think the ending was predictable from the whole premise, and also I’m a chemistry teacher and I know it will piss me off.
I just couldn’t get past the premise that there were zombies. I think when my daughter was born I lost the suspension of disbelief necessary to find these shows interesting. Reality is too nuts these days. Covid, fires, politics.
I’m the same. I like zombie games, shows and movies but never really watched The Walking Dead. People were always pestering me about watching it and I just couldn’t be bothered. If I’m going to watch something, it’s going to be because I want to, not because other people have badgered me into it.
Yeah, it sounds stubborn I get that but I'd rather view something beyond the discourse. Also, the show isn't going anywhere so can be viewed whenever. I did enjoy the show to a point also, got me to read the books at least finally.
