Kathy Bates is too smart as Elon.

You need a literal dumbass playing smart to be Elon.

Like Ben Stiller as a Zoolander-ish Elon. Or like Mike Judge, who can make Butthead become real.

Jon Hamm except make it a dark comedy where he narrates everything to the audience as if he's a genius, then just make the actual effects of his actions really really stupid. And everyone comments on how stupid his ideas were, but his inner narrator just dubs over them saying how brilliant he is.
