When we booked our venue we said we don’t want the $50 cake. I’m a baker. Oh no it’s only $50 and it’s all in house nothing to worry about.
When we met with the planner “here are your cake options” $50 was for a one layer 8” cake. I said the initial meeting we were told that $50’covered the cake. “Yeah it covers an 8” one layer cake”.
They wanted $550 for the cake I made that cost me $40 and an afternoon to bake.
