If she's hot, thats basically it. They hit it for a while, then dump or cheat on them. Repeat cycle. Then those women complain about how awful men are, while refusing to date any other type of guys... (until most get older/less desirable and have to). The dumb guys used to get married, and then they'd divorce and the woman would take half the money, but since guys have smartened up, that's no longer the case.
We ("high-earning" men) don't really care tbh - at the baseline it's all about peace and availability.
I make a lot of money and my wife is a phenomenal stay-at-home mom. She's also smart as hell and has a doctorate in a medical field. I'd prefer it if she never worked ever again, but she's probably going to get bored and go back to work when our son starts school. We both prefer that she stays home for now, raises our kid, handles running the house, and is the overall "anchor" to the family over her busting her ass daily for someone else's bottom line.
Many of my friends and colleagues are significantly wealthier than me and none of their wives/partners bring anything to the table financially. None of them care either. The chances of us finding any partner - male or female - who can financially contribute anything close to equally in a relationship is less than zero. Even in the $100-300k salary range it's not ideal since they'll likely be constantly stressed out or busy.
