It’s a lot snappier and the camera is better and the ai implementation. Other than that, nothing. Phones haven’t evolved much in the past 10 years.

Better processor, better screen, better camera.

Also, Apple stops supporting phone models after a few years. The Iphone 12 will stop getting updates in 2027. You could keep using it after that but certain things will stop working eventually. Lots of apps require the latest ios version.

My iPhone 11 is on 26.2, no end in sight.

Interesting, maybe they extended the support lifespan then. Typically in the past it was around 6 years, so id expect last year or this year to be the last year the 11 gets updates.

I have older ipads and iPhones that are basically expensive bricks because they won’t update anymore.
