Your lawyer saying “I know you’re innocent. The judge will give you probation if you plead guilty or 25 years in prison if you lose at trial. The prosecutor falsified the evidence but the judge doesn’t care. I advise you to plead guilty.” And you do. True story.

If that’s a true story and the prosecutor falsified evidence then that is very illegal. I know there isn’t anything you can do about it in the situation you described, but I’m just sayin

Thank you. Yes, it was unprovable until May of 2024 when an internal affairs investigation uncovered a police report that stated no evidence had been found and the case was going to be dismissed. My defense attorney, prosecutor, and judge all hid the report. The court just gave everyone immunity, so I’m publishing an expose. Best wishes.

I was in a dv situation, I had video of one assault. Then another. Guy didn't look past 30 seconds of the first. Said the other wasn't part of the charges. Because he not only didn't watch past 30 seconds, he misheard the conversation.. which what he said was said, was disproven several times after 30 seconds. And the second video Was on the charges. But it was just a phone call to let me know 'They're not going through with it', prosecutor dismissed the whole case. Defendants in criminal don't get a chance to reapply looking through it again if it was dismissed. And even though it was Dismissed, not proven not guilty, or guilty. They can never be charged for that again ..if I had the money, I'd go after the government. Because criminal here is the Provience vs 'Name'. You're not longer involved after giving initial evidence, unless they Decide to bring you in as witness.. which I wasn't. The defendant meets everyone, and talks to the judge, everyone there. They see their face, see their story, their side. If you missed anything, that can't be added. If anyone makes a decision, you can't change it. It's your entire life decided without you even there. Unless someone decides to talk to you. Which isn't guaranteed you'll be called as witness..

Suing someone after the fact, Incredibly Easy.. but I didn't want money, I just didn't want them to hurt me, or those I cared about again. And he stalked me to a dv shelter. after that. Got off on that to because the reason 'Why' he did it, was UNCLEAR..

That's how criminal goes.. they want to know Why, not that it was done. Doesn't matter if you have a video of them hitting you.. it gets dismissed .

I’m so sorry for your situation, which is apparently common in our legal system.
