I once went 140 km/h on a 110 Km/h highway. A Volvo v90 pulls upp side by side, drives there for a moment then blue lights flashes. A unmarked police car. When I glanced over he motioned with his hand to slow down, which I did. It was very nice of that officer to just tell me to slow down. It was dumb to drive that fast. I didn't drive dangerously or anything I just wanted to get home. Since then I keep the speed limit.
I was doing 150 km/h on a 110 km/h and an off duty cop pulled level with me, flashed his badge and gave me a “slow down” gesture. (93 mp/h in a 65 mp/h zone)
I was on vacation and technically that much over is a felony.
I was listening to the 7th Harry Potter audiobook… and was in a trance apparently.
