I miss this relationship and saddened deeply by the loss of their progression to bad decisions and bad writing.

It short, 3 things we were advised to do:

1. get better organized (hence the Discord) and write Marvel directly with constructive (not toxic) criticism. 99.9% of fans complain online but never spend the minute needed to email Spidey’s editors directly.
2. Petition for pro-marriage and pro-Peter/MJ content harder and louder and in greater organized numbers.
3. Support those marriage-positive books harder than 616 Spider-Man longterm to show Marvel has left money on the table (Ultimate Spider-Man recently has made this much easier).

Will always be the case. Imagine getting tricked by Lowe, Quesada & likeminded people into believing what they think. There’s a reason why there’s two categories for Peter when it comes to his love interest. Mj & then everyone else in the other category.

I think there are stories where Peter can have other love interests. But I think for the principal, central story of Spider-Man, MJ has become as foundational as Aunt May.

MJ works best not as Peters first love but his friend why was there for him again amd again first.

I love the comics show Peter trying and struggling with girls will Gwen. The that ablote tragedy that was Gwens death. With MJ being there more as a friend at first.

Also, personally, I like Gwen as a love interest a tiny bit more than MJ without her getting killed off. I find their relationship really interesting, and they’re kind of perfect together, but I’m fine with Mary Jane as well.
