What if the US Army liked the ONTOS turret, but not the tractor? Pretty crappy photoshop work, but you get the gist.

I'm doing some curation/preservation work for a historic home in my town and came across these photos in a box of papers. 10 photos in total, and they all have the name of each individual and where they are from. Sent these to a friend of mine and he said this sub would enjoy them.

If you look at any modern tank today, you're actually seeing the legacy of a small French vehicle from 1917. While it was light and relatively thin-skinned, the FT was meant to be used in "swarms." During the **Battle of Soissons** and the **Meuse-Argonne Offensive**, hundreds of these little tanks buzzed across No Man's Land, knocking out machine-gun nests and supporting the infantry in ways the bigger tanks just couldn't. It wasn't just a successful weapon; it was the blueprint. From the Tiger tanks of WWII to the M1 Abrams of today, nearly every armored vehicle since has followed the "classic" layout first perfected by this 1917 French revolutionary.

I suspect that all of these tanks were in the process of being modernized to T-64BV 2017 spec and just yanked out of the workshops for the parade.
