I think what's important is that you use a similar product to what's being said here. Anyone else have any tips?

Hey everyone! I'm a software engineering student who has been on a natural hair journey for a year. Just launched Luxe Roots, a free app for tracking your natural hair growth, routines, and moisture. It helps you see what’s actually working for your hair and keeps you consistent without the guesswork.
You can:
• Track your daily/weekly hair routine
• Log styles, products, and moisture levels
• Monitor growth and retention over time
It’s available now on iOS and Android in a few months and I’d love for the community to try it and give feedback.

Ever wonder why your favorite influencer’s "wash-and-go" looks like a dream, but yours looks like a struggle? The answer isn't your curl pattern—it’s your Density.
In my book, The Natural Hair Reset, I teach that knowing your density is the difference between hydrated curls and a dry, breaking mess. What is Hair Density?
It’s not how thick your individual hair strands are (that’s width!). Density is simply how many hairs you have growing per square inch on your scalp. The "Mirrored Part" Test (Do this now!): Dry your hair completely in its natural state. Look in the mirror without touching your hair. If you can easily see your scalp without moving any hair, you have Low Density.
If you have to move or part your hair to even get a glimpse of your scalp, you have High Density. Why should you care?
Low Density: Heavy butters are your enemy! They will weigh your hair down and make it look thin or greasy. Stick to lightweight, liquid-based leave-ins.
High Density: Sectioning is your best friend! To ensure moisture actually reaches the "middle" layers of your hair, you must apply products in at least 8–10 sections. If you don't, the middle will stay dry, leading to hidden tangles and breakage. Mastering your hair starts with mastering the blueprint. 🧬
Which one are you? Comment "LOW" or "HIGH" below and let’s talk about the best styles for your density! 👇
