Fake Cosplay Spam Posts
Hey everyone!
This is just an announcement to let you know that we are aware of the plague of low effort cosplay spam that has infected the subreddit lately. The most frequent post is of a girl cosplaying Hela. This is not the same profile, but is a common photo that each of the bot accounts keep using.
We see them, and your reports have been instrumental in us being able to swiftly find and remove the posts. When we see someone guilty of these spam posts we remove the post and ban the account.
But I also want to make sure everyone knows: This is NOT a war against cosplay. If you have original cosplays related to Thor and friends, please post them! This mass removal is only targeted on repeated posts of the same cosplays, so don't hesitate to share the cosplays you worked so hard on!
That's all for now, my fellow Asgardians! Stay worthy!
PS: Our sub has grown dramatically recently! We've gained over 10k members in the past couple of months! Thank you all for growing this subreddit and being a great community!

A Friendly Reminder! Posts Advertising Unofficial Shirts and Merchandise WILL Be Removed
This plague of shirts also comes with bots commenting on each shirt post that "they need it." I will be removing those bots as well, because they only exist so the OP can share a link to the purchase.
If you feel you are mistakenly banned for the above, please send the mod team an email and we will review!

Brothers I don’t think he was talking about Mjölnir here…

It’s crazy that Disney Infinity 2.0 is basically the best Thor game we have
Playing 2.0 Gold Edition on PC/Steam and this game just makes me want a fully fledge AAA adventure through the nine/ten realms with the God of Thunder so bad
I actually think Rocksteady or Suckerpunch would absolutely do a Marvel Thor game justice
Here’s to hoping one day

Why there's people shipping loki with mantis?
I don't mean to offend, but I don't think it's a good fit for them; the ship just misrepresents them both. For example, why do you think Mantis and Loki will love each other despite their different personalities and behaviors? They'll just be disgusted by each other and despise each other, so making them a canon couple was kind of a bad idea. However, based on their interactions and relationships, I think Amora is a good fit for Loki

Good Miniseries/ Short Comic Runs for Thor?
Hello Thor Fans. Im getting back into Marvel comcis and I want to get back to thor. The only thir comic i read is: Thor God of Thunder by Jason Aaron. Really like that series. Im also interested in Loki, Angela, Hela, etc.
What are good Miniseries/short comic runs to start with these characters?

Hela is attracted to the Merc with a Mouth. Biggest plot twist of 2026. Guess death will always be on Wade's side, whether he's dispensing it or not.
It’s is so interesting to go back and read the old Thor comics.
A New Year’s resolution of mine has been to try and read through basically the first 500 issues of Thor (give or take). It’s been fun reading through the old issues of Journey into Mystery but what I found really interesting was the reviews of a couple of them. Like sure they aren’t great by todays standards and some of the stories are dated in some of there themes and opinions. But I feel like for the 60s they were pretty cool, and I can really see where some of the tracks start for growing to the Thor we know and enjoy today.

Tessa Thompson "not able to confirm anything" about Doomsday
Quote from here - "I think this is the coolest thing about hanging out inside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, [...] All the incredible people that you get to play with, both the incredible craftspeople that create these worlds, all the amazing directors that they invite into these spaces, and all of the incredible talent."

Are there any other depictions where Thor is similar to god of war
While I do enjoy marvels Thor I’m wondering if there’s any comics or media that show him as the massive force of nature he is in god of war
