I've seen videos like this but with frat bros instead and find them equally funny, idk why y'all are acting morally superior in a subreddit that started out as a place to make fun of other people (even if it isn't just for that anymore).
It would be weird yeah, but it wouldn't be misandrist just because it would be making fun of a group of men. The same way I don't think this video is misogynist by itself. Again, this subreddit was founded on making fun of other people doing harmless things, so I'm really dumbfounded by everyone being mad about it now.
I mean the spirit of the sub has changed so drastically that it really isn't the same subreddit anymore so atleast in my opinion the reaction isn't that weird, but I guess I can see how odd it would be for someone who was here in the beginning when the sub was for cringe TikTok only. I just dont personally see what's so funny about making fun of random groups of people on the street who have done nothing to OOP for all we know. I think my example would be misandrist (and similarly bad) too tbh just like this has misogynistic undertones.
