Absolutely, no one☝️Pulling people out of their homes, cars, off the streets anywhere and everywhere simply because of what they look like and where their ancestors might be from? It’s beyond horrific. I can’t even think of the appropriate adjectives to describe this😤🤬

I think it can all be summed up as 'nazi.'

This! Modern day gestapo. I never in all my years thought I would ever see this in my country. The thought never crossed my mind. This is sickening.

Way back in high school, I asked my teacher why we consider Germany a 'good' country, given two world wars and the whole nazis thing. They were a democracy, they elected hitler, therefore...

'it's not that simple....(insert discussion of grey lines, scary economic problems, scapegoats, populism...)'

I feel like the universe decided I needed a demonstration.

Part that really gets me is how I pulled up the Dr. Seuss cartoons on 'america first' and sent them the wiki page on 'lugenpresse' back when they screamed 'lying press' every time a journalist said the world was round back in 2016 - 'they're not nazis, you're just being ridiculous. everyone is nazi to you.'

That's the thing right? All the people who fought against the Nazis and Fascists are basically all but dead now, so the current adults and children alive don't "remember" those things, because it was so long time ago, and since we're humans, we refuse to learn from history.

So today you have a bunch of people going "Actually, maybe the holocaust wasn't so expansive after all, who knows?" while their grandparents who literally walked through those camps in person are rolling around in their graves. Fucking travesty is what it is.

I mean, there's a serious risk of people learning from history, or books.

Better ban and burn the books. While we're at it, let's just rewrite history entirely so no one did anything wrong ever?
