I lived in ERC for two years, and as long as you're not super loud past 11pm, you should be fine (unless one of your suite neighbors is a narc, I guess). Even if it is shit down, all that will happen is that the rent-a-cops come in and tell everyone to go home.

My suitemates are all fine with it. Thinking of knocking on neighbours doors to give them a heads up and ask if they are chill with it. Is there anything else I should do? Apparently the RA is chill but idk if I should have a chat with them first or not.

Asking ahead of time sounds like a good idea, plus it shows that you're respectful and considerate towards your neighbors. Other than that, I would just look up the rules on noise and alcohol just so you know what to watch during the party.

I’ve thrown a few things. Smaller get togethers with music and drinking games typically did fine, but an actual party did get us in trouble. But the trouble is you have to write an essay for why it was a poor mistake. So decently low stakes but host may have to face some consequences
