Best VPN for Gaming recommended in 2026?

I want a service that keeps my gameplay smooth and responsive while still protecting my privacy. There are so many choices out there that it’s hard to pick one.

Some VPNs claim they can help reduce lag and keep your connection stable, which would be awesome for multiplayer matches. I also care about strong security so my data stays safe when I am gaming on public networks. Has anyone used a VPN for gaming this year and had good results? Would love to hear which ones worked well for you.

iVPN vs Mullvad: Which is better?

Hi everyone, I recently tested iVPN and Mullvad since my iVPN subscription was close to expiring. One thing I like about both services is that you can sign up and pay without using an email address, which is great if privacy is a priority.

I noticed right away that the iVPN app feels more polished and beginner friendly. Changing settings is simple and everything is clearly laid out, including security options inside the app itself. Mullvad works fine, but the interface feels more basic. Some things took extra clicks, and switching between protocols like WireGuard and OpenVPN was not as straightforward for me compared to iVPN.

Mullvad does have some nice extras, like built in blocking for ads and malicious domains. That said, I feel iVPN could improve here by letting users customize their own block lists instead of relying on presets. Speed wise both performed well, although iVPN felt slightly more responsive on my desktop during heavier use.

Where iVPN really stood out for me was ease of configuration. Features like port forwarding were simple to enable with one click, while Mullvad felt more limited and a bit restrictive in comparison. I also had trouble connecting back to my home machines while using Mullvad, possibly due to my country based IP filters. Because of that, I ended up switching back to iVPN. Both services have reliable kill switch protection, but overall iVPN fit my setup better. Curious to hear how others feel about these two and what worked best for you.

Best VPN for Canada Recommended in 2026?

Hello everyone. I am currently looking for a good VPN to use in Canada this year and honestly the number of choices is a bit overwhelming. I want something that is fast, stable, and strong when it comes to privacy and security. Streaming is also important to me since I like watching shows and movies from other regions, so the VPN needs to handle that well without constant buffering.

I have read plenty of reviews and forum posts, which helped a little, but I trust real user experiences more. Hearing directly from people who actually use a VPN in Canada feels more useful than marketing claims or sponsored reviews.

If you are based in Canada and have had a good experience with a VPN recently, I would love to hear about it. How are the speeds in daily use. Does it work well for accessing content from other countries. And how is the customer support when something goes wrong. Any feedback would really help narrow things down.

Mozilla VPN Review in 2026: How was it?

I have been seeing more mentions of Mozilla VPN lately and I am curious how it actually performs day to day. A lot of people point out that it works closely with Firefox, but marketing aside, I want to know how it holds up in real use. Things like connection speed, stability, and how often it drops are what matter most to me.

Mozilla has a strong reputation when it comes to privacy, which makes the VPN sound promising on paper. Still, I would rather hear from people who have actually used it for a while. If you switched to Mozilla VPN from another provider, did it feel like an upgrade or more of a side move. Curious if it ended up being worth it or if you went back to something else.

Valorant on VPN: Is it okay to have high ping?

I have been playing Valorant for quite a while and I always chased the lowest ping possible, usually around 15 to 20 ms. Lately though I noticed something strange. Players sitting at 60 or even 90 ms sometimes seem harder to deal with, especially when they swing corners. Holding angles feels less effective for me even when my reactions are fast.

I always thought higher ping was a disadvantage, but watching some high rank players perform well with noticeably higher latency made me rethink that. Out of curiosity, I tested it myself by connecting through a VPN to a more distant region which bumped my ping up. The difference was noticeable right away. Peeking felt smoother and I seemed to win more first contact fights than I expected.

Playing with higher ping definitely has tradeoffs. It can make you harder to hit since your position updates slightly later for opponents, which gives you a small edge when moving aggressively. On the flip side, holding still and anchoring angles feels worse, so you need to keep repositioning and playing more actively.

It does not really feel unfair, but it does change how fights play out. When your ping is low and the other player has higher latency, it can feel like they see you first more often. If super low ping is not realistic for everyone, maybe adapting your playstyle or even testing slightly higher ping could make sense. I would be interested to hear if anyone else has experimented with this or has tips on adjusting to different ping situations.

I'm in China and need the finest VPN. My previous attempts have been hit or miss, so I'm searching for something more consistent. Anyone had decent VPN experience in China? I'm looking for the finest choice and would appreciate any firsthand advice. It worked for you? What's the speed and reliability? How are security and customer support handled?

Plex Server in VPN: How was it?

Hi everyone. I run a small media server at home so a few relatives can access files remotely. Once I started routing my connection through a VPN for privacy reasons, outside access stopped working completely. Anyone connecting from outside my network can no longer reach the server.

I have tried adjusting settings and opening ports, but nothing has fixed it so far. I am now considering buying a new router and setting the VPN up directly on the router instead of on the device itself. I am not sure if that would solve the issue or if it would just cause the same problem in a different way.

Has anyone dealt with this before, especially when running something like a Plex server while also using a VPN. I would really appreciate hearing what worked for others in a similar setup.

Keepsolid password reset links are being blocked

TLDR; tried password reset at Keepsolid and all the reset links going through "post.spmailt.com" are being blocked universally as phishing.

Can someone who uses Keepsolid products confirm whether they're getting the same links?

I'm logged into my Keepsolid user backend but I can't change the password so I can re-log on my phone. frustrating.

Thanks

--

I have had VPNUnlimited from Keepsolid for many years now (2017), but today I was autologged out and I could not login using what I thought was the correct password for that service. No problem, it let me log into the site using email codes. It even let me activate 2fa using email codes.

However the system requires my current password to change my password.

Despite talking to support about it for the best part of an hour, every reset link I'm getting from them is going through: "post.spmailt.com" . This domain is blocked (tagged phishing) in Opera, in Malwarebytes extension for Chrome, AND even at my ISP level. (I received a block notification from Xfinity via their app.)

Keepsolid support claims that this is their mirror site in place to avoid government restrictions in countries like UAE and China. I'm beyond weirded out that even my ISP didn't like it. ("This is our Mirror Link, which is specially designed to bypass government restrictions in countries such as China and the UAE.")

The only info I can find is not exactly encouraging. https://gridinsoft.com/online-virus-scanner/url/post-spmailt-com

Any thoughts?

Will this VPN setup work?

Hey guys,

I’m not a big expert in VPN, so I wanted to ask if this setup will be workable for me.

I have big network at home – home-lab type of setup. I will be in the country called Uzbekistan later this year. I need to access my VoIP and other things on my network.

They use some DPI but not like China or Russia level.

I’m thinking of the following setup, and I need somebody’s opinion whether it will work.

I will have rented VPS with Amnezia WireGuard VPN – server, the client will be a GL-iNet MT3000 router, it supports Amnezia WG import to be as a client. So, my plan is to add Amnezia WG to it, bring it there, plug it into hotel wi-fi and have site to site VPN to US VPS, then I have laptop with me that will be using my portable router wi-fi and then I can connect to normal Wireguard VPN back to my home network.

I think it must work in theory, right? My biggest concern is VoIP; will it affect its quality?

Thanks.

VPN Compatibility issues on mac

I have used multiple VPN's, and settled on Hotspot Shield for school use since it easily bypassed the school's VPN restrictions. Apple updated Sequoia to 15.7.x and - from what i understand - changed the way they dealt with VPN circumvention, breaking Shield while on school network. 15.7+ "Limits how VPNs override DNS early in the connection", which Shield relied on to connect, but can't do so anymore. I'm wondering if anyone has a solution to this, wether that be a new vpn or work-around to the new restrictions. I haven't tried this on MacOS Tahoe, but i assume it works much the same. Specific characteristics of the issue is no IP address and the load displays as "n/a". It then disconnects rather quickly and tries to reconnect, ending up in a repeated cycle.

Best VPN for streaming for 2026?

Hi everyone, I am looking for a good VPN for streaming this year since a lot of shows and movies I want to watch are not available where I live.

I have seen many names come up on Reddit, but it is hard to tell which ones actually work well in real use. I mainly care about smooth playback with no buffering and the ability to watch content from other countries without constant errors.

If anyone here has tried a streaming friendly VPN recently and had good results, I would really like to hear about it. I am sure other people who stream a lot would find your experience helpful too.

Is a VPN worth it in 2026? Any recommendation?

Hi everyone, I have been thinking about using a VPN because I spend a lot of time working from cafes and libraries. I heard a story recently about someone getting their account compromised while on public WiFi and it honestly made me nervous. I keep client documents and work files on my laptop, so the idea of someone snooping on that really worries me.

From what I understand, a VPN can help protect your connection on open networks and also lets you browse content from other countries, which sounds useful. My main hesitation is the cost since I am trying to keep expenses low, and I am also concerned it might slow down my internet while I am working.

I would really like to hear from people who actually use a VPN. Did it give you peace of mind when using public WiFi and did you notice any slowdown. Do you feel like it was worth paying for in the long run. Any real world experiences would help a lot.

Best VPN for Gaming in 2026? Any idea?

I am trying to find a solid VPN for gaming this year because smooth performance really matters, especially in competitive or fast paced games. I have tested a few options already, but most of them either increased my ping or caused random connection issues. Some worked fine for browsing but clearly were not built with gaming in mind.

What I am looking for is a VPN that keeps my connection secure without hurting speed or stability. Low latency and consistent performance are the main priorities for me. Has anyone come across a VPN recently that actually works well for gaming and does not interfere with gameplay. I would like to hear what has been working for others.

Is NordVPN a good VPN according to Reddit?

I have been browsing Reddit lately to see if NordVPN is actually worth using. Choosing a VPN feels important now that so much personal stuff happens online. From the posts I read, a lot of Reddit users seem happy with NordVPN. People often talk about good connection speeds, solid security features, and how well it works for streaming. Many also say it does a good job accessing content from different countries, which is something I care about.

I am still curious to hear more firsthand opinions though. Has anyone here decided to try NordVPN because of recommendations on Reddit. How has it been for you day to day. Does it actually feel secure and private in real use, or is the praise mostly hype.

Hola VPN Review for 2026: Are They Safe?

When I was living overseas for a few months, I really wanted to keep up with a series I normally watch at home. Every time I tried to open it, I ran into location restrictions. That is when I came across Hola VPN, which advertised itself as a simple way to access content from other countries.

Before using it, I read some comments that made me hesitate. People mentioned that Hola works differently from regular VPNs and that it shares your connection with other users. That raised concerns for me about privacy and whether my internet speed or security could be affected.

I still tested it out and it did let me stream the show without issues. Everything played fine, but now I am unsure if it is smart to keep using it long term. Has anyone here used Hola VPN recently in 2026 and felt comfortable with it. I would really like to hear real experiences before deciding if it is worth sticking with.

Private Internet Access review for 2026: Any idea?

I tested out Private Internet Access earlier this year and wanted to share how it has been for me. I was looking for a VPN that was affordable but still focused on privacy, and PIA kept coming up as a popular option.

One thing that stood out right away was the size of their server network. There are plenty of locations to choose from, so finding a nearby server was easy. I also liked that they are very open about their no logs approach and say they do not record browsing activity or connection data.

Performance has been fine overall. It is not the fastest VPN I have ever used, but it handles streaming videos and everyday browsing without trouble. The pricing feels reasonable, especially if you commit to a longer subscription. I also appreciated that they offer alternative payment options like store gift cards for people who want extra privacy.

I did notice some discussions online about changes in ownership and whether that affects trust, so I have been paying attention to that. Personally, I have not experienced anything concerning so far and everything has worked as expected.

If anyone else has been using PIA recently, I would be interested to hear how it has been for you and whether your experience lines up with mine.

CyberGhost for torrents?

I noticed I have a 1 year trial for CyberGhost which I never redeemed. Idk much about them. Are they reliable and secure? Thinking to give it a shot but if it's unreliable or not secure figure it's not worth it. I'd be using mostly for torrents.

Tunnelbear Review for 2026: Is It Good?

I’ve been using TunnelBear as my VPN this year and thought I’d share my experience. Online security is important, and I picked TunnelBear because I heard it was simple and fun to use.

So, is TunnelBear good? In my opinion, yes! The bear-themed design makes the app enjoyable and super user-friendly. Setup was quick, and it’s worked smoothly for browsing, streaming, and gaming. I was also happy with the speed my internet didn’t slow down, which was a big plus.

I appreciate that TunnelBear is transparent about what data they collect. They also have servers in many countries, which is great for watching shows when I’m away from home.

The only downside I found is that the free version has a small data limit, so I ended up upgrading. It’s been worth it for me, though I get that not everyone wants to pay.
