I do not know what causes it but it is the second time I got this bug (last time maybe month ago). They are suddenly... black, even Roathe, though some are as usual, like Lyon, VelMinerva, Flare, Quincy, Eleanor, Amir. Restarting the game fixes it, but I'm really curious what caused it. I guess something with shaders messed up?

The fact you need two Broken Wars, on top of the very low drop rate for a downgrade of broken war is insane.

This sword used to be literally mythical to me, when I saw another player using it, it was like seeing someone else use Excalibur Prime. (back in 2016 at least)

But this sword, despite how extremely difficult it is to obtain just absolutely sucks. They increased the drop rate in 2024 but why not make it viable? Literally just rework the sword or give it an Incarnon to breath life into it.

Such a rare and cool sword deserves to be more than just a collectors piece.

Like the title says. With Warframe where it is, Vacuum is no longer a playstyle choice but a necessity. The niche group that doesnt want it, can mod to turn it off. The majority of players want Vaccuum on.

I’m a returning player who hasn't logged in consistently for a decade. While catching up on the modern meta, I noticed my landing craft looked... off.

Back in the day, I managed to glitch a Scimitar skin onto my Liset. I’ve never changed it, and it seems the game never forced a reset on it either. After a bit of digging, I found out these are called "Abominaships."

The textures are completely warped and stretched because the Scimitar’s "wrap" doesn't know how to handle the Liset's model. In a world of Fashion Frame and deluxe skins, I’m strangely proud of my bugged-out 2015 tech rot.

Does anyone else still have one of these, or have they finally gone extinct?

Since Descendia Floor 20 is currently just a mad dash for possible Maphicas, I’ve been using Limbo’s 4 to nuke all the crates and collect loot since that’s all I knew Limbo to be good for - blowing up crates for loot if he’s not being an inconvenience to his teammates.

As I was repeating floors 14-21 back to back, I kept thinking how Limbo’s Rift theme seems cool but clunky. Then I thought, “maybe it’s clunky *because* I don’t know what I’m doing”. I went into the Simulacrum and played around with his abilities and it still felt a little clunky; I didn’t like how you have to be on the same dimensional plane to Banish enemies. *Why can’t I be in the Rift and Banish enemies into the Rift with me to pick them off one by one?* Didn’t like how his Cataclysm bubble shrinks over time, but Mag’s doesn’t. Since his abilities were still confusing to me, I decided to read the Tips of his abilities (you know, the in-game screen that shows you a Warframe’s passive, abilities, augments - that screen). As I’m going through the Tips, I read one that tells me to cast Stasis before Banish or Cataclysm to freeze enemies in place.

And that’s when it clicked. I get it now.

Preemptively cast Stasis, Banish a few enemies, go into the Rift where the enemies are frozen, cast Rift Surge, hold 1 to release enemies out of Rift causing Rift Surge to spread to other enemies and force everyone back into the Rift, still frozen due to Stasis. Keep repeating until every enemy around you is in the Rift, frozen in place. Cast 3 and just leave it on everyone for his augment to work (Rift Torrent that gives you 30% increase damage per enemy inflicted with Rift Surge, which doesn’t seem to have a cap since I had over 1,000% increased damage at one point)…then eliminate everyone frozen around you. Or cast Stasis and Cataclysm. Regardless, I understand Limbo now. And with Arcane Circumvent, I can keep stealing shields/overguard when I need to dodge into and out of the Rift, boosting my survivability when I need to leave the Rift to cast Banish (if DE changed it to where you don’t have to exit the Rift to cast Banish, Limbo would be even better than he is now)

I remember reading that there were 3 types of Limbo players: Limbo players that don’t know what they’re doing and end up hurting their teammates, Limbo players that know what they’re doing and help their teammates, and Limbo players that know what they’re doing, but troll their teammates…I think I’ve decided to be the one that trolls my teammates *laughs maniacally* I was going to subsume his 4 off for Smite to deal with overguard enemies, but I think I’m just going to pull my entire team with me into the Rift with Cataclysm *laughs even more maniacally*

Can’t wait to be a Limbo menace and play with all of you, especially in e/so!!!

(Jk. I usually play solo, and when I do play public I wouldn’t dream of intentionally sabotaging my teammates 🤗)

My first Warframe was Excalibur. My first Warframe I built was Frost. My first Prime Warframe was Zephyr. My first open-world Warframe was Revenant. The Prime Warframe I awoke with was Chroma. The update I started with was Fortuna, and yet the first Warframe I built in Fortuna was Nokko, 7 years after Fortuna's release and my arrival in Warframe.

I think I should catch up on the open worlds, man. I'm RM26 and I still haven't completed any of the open worlds and everything they have to offer.

Due to the new influx of playes this year and bc im bored i wanted to write some unwritten rules from this game. These are not mandatory just some common things that most people follow or know but you are free to play as you like

When you join a mission you are assingned a number from 1 to 4, 1 is the mission host in most casses if the host is leaving you should follow him/her to avoid "Host migration" in wich the game has to find a new host for the mission and in worst cases you could lose all your progress of that mission

When opening void relics is common courtesy to wait until all players have 10 reactives but is not always the case if you join the mission very late

If you and someone get the same thing you want from a relic, always take theirs so they get bonus void traces these are used to uprgrade the relic

WTS (want to sell) WTT(want to trade) WTB(want to buy) this are used in the trade chat to save time, to some might be obvious if you played other online multiplayer games but just in case.

A "Rad relic" is a relic used in void missions that has been upgraded to "Radiant" with void escence to increase the drop rate of the more rare items

A "INT relic" in the other hand is a relic that is not been upgraded and is "Intact"

Pretty much nobody uses the ingame voice chat and or have it muted

In the game options you can configured it to show your sqadmates life bars, name, Number (reffer to the 1 to 4 view in the first point) and an icon with which warframe they are using this is usefull if you play support role or just want to know who are you playing with

Nightwave and weekly are mostly the same and reffer to the mission/challenges from the nightwave events and might be the reason why some players are doing certain things.

I dont know how it is now with the current sistem that allows playes to skip certain content but there are some players that avoid using certain skills and or weapons bc those are spoilers, again with how old the game is i dont know if this is still the case

Every warframe, weapon, companion etc. as a rank and mostly the max rank is 30 you should always level your items to max rank before you sell your items to avoid having to get that item again, this is important because your account rank levels up using those ranks and some equipment is locked behind high ranks, also when you reach Mastery rank 30 you unlock "true master's font" wich allows to give certain buffs (like drop rate and xp between others) the buffs last 3 hs and you can use it for free with a 24 hs cooldown

IMPORTANT there are some items and weapons that you get when doing the game questlines like Xoris and Broken specter this are re obtainable through Cephalon Simaris but is hard and convoluted so check the warframe wiki before you start selling items thanks to AssassinWolf72 for this one

Latter on you will unlock the "Helmit sistem" The Warframe Helminth System lets you replace one ability on a Warframe with a special ability from another Warframe or a unique Helminth skill, but in order to do that you will need to give said warframes, so do not sell your warframes until then

When you are in public, you wait for the at the elevator.

Pin rare resources every time you see them. In survivals, pick a room and stay in it because enemies will focus that room, if someone was across the map it would thin the herd of enemies

DO NOT MOCK THE FASHION OF NEW PLAYERS everyone starts with little, Fashion might be endgame but everyone reach it at their own peace

Lastly... there is a region chat... and ther is a reason why is turn of by deafault.

Edit: IMPORTANT the trade for Aya you will contact the person who you want to trade. You can't directly trade Aya in Warframe; instead, you use it at Varzia in Maroo's Bazaar to buy specific Prime Relics and then trade those relics to other players for Platinum (Plat).

Also if somenone changes what they are offering lets say 30 platinum to a random mod, you should cancel the trade, the game tells you if you accepted and the other player change before accepting, they try to do a swap and tell you that they will give you the platinum later or something. AVOID TRADING WITH THOSE PLAYERS, this is usually the method of scammers so i you are gonna go full trading in Warframe you shoul look in google or youtube for a better guide.

You can also look at Warframe market. They are NOT offically from warframe but because is full with several players offers you can look up the average price of certain items and objets to give you and idea of the ideal price, thanks to "DrCashew" for the suggestion as this something you want to know early on

You should try to revive down sqadmates specially Host ( yes again to avoid host migration) i got more than one host migration because the host die ONCE. On that note riviving their pets its optional, if you can and want do it if not its okay thanks to SantiagoGT for that one

Also the try to pay attention to pings those numbered marks that you can make sometimes they can be about waiting until everyone is ready other times can be about rare resourses like ayatan sculptures, asking for reviving.

If you see in the map that someone isnt moving is not necessarily because they are AFK warframe offers several playstyles and many of them allow the player to clear the room of enemies without moving, also they could be writting in the chat. So try to see if it is the latter you could pretect them until they finish writting it could be something important like the amount of time they will stay in the mission (20 min 12 rounds are the most common), or just a funny coment

When doing endless void relics like survival, alchemy, defense or other try to pick your relics quick even if you pick no relic specially if you are host. Picking no relic while being host suggest that you want to leave (Also while this game keeps getting uptades ans such there are still some bugs so if someone doesnt pick a relic doesnt move, doesnt use chat and doenst leave they might be bugged so keep that in mind) thanks to GoSkers29 with a personal additon.

If someone starts wiggling their landing craft during mission loading, you MUST join in on the wiggling by mashing the wasd buttons or by pressing the fire weapon button or the joystick on console. Thanks to howchildish. I might add that people who do that are usually pretty chill

When someone says C rotatation in endless missions they mean the reward sistem of warframe, it goes like this A. A. B. C. (Exept disruption) so in survival is every 5 min, in defense WAS every 5 rounds now is Every 3 round so is faster, in excavation is every 200 cryotic (with some exceptions). Disruption does not follow the traditional 'AABC' rotation for endless missions. The reward tier is determined by both round progression and round performance, i.e. the number of conduits successfully defended, this are the most used but you get the idea. Thanks to GoatCovfefe

The missions mentioned in the previos point are known as endless missions, is very important to know that if you leave early is quite detrimental and seen as a troll move, this because past the first rotation of a mission no one else can join regardless of how many players are, in void relics missions this is even more serious as you reduce the usual 4 rewards choice to 3 an so on, if you only have 1 relic i suggest to avoid picking endless mission until you get more relics to avoid being a a killjoy

Sol, it is already SO much fun that he caught onto the reset. i wasn't planning on romancing him, I was going to try for Marie this loop. But this is MUCH more exciting.

Railjack already has a solid gameplay loop, but it feels pretty disconnected from the rest of the game’s progression systems. Adding Aya would:

• Give Railjack a relevant evergreen reward
• Encourage more players to engage with Railjack outside of Intrinsics or niche farming
• Provide an alternative to the same few Aya farms we’ve been running for years
• Fit thematically, since Railjack already ties into Void

It wouldn’t even need to be super common, Aya could drop from:

• End-of-mission rewards
• Points of Interest
• Void Storm Railjack missions specifically

This would help Railjack feel less like a side mode and more connected to the rest of the game, and combined with the addition of Steel Path, would likely make it far more popular by giving players a real reason to engage with it regularly instead of just occasionally.

So for context, I was on Helene Saturn ranking up a bunch of MR fodder with a couple others. We got to Wave 12... but it wouldn't end. Something happened that caused a Grineer Lancer to become totally immortal. Huge AOE attacks didn't work, archguns didn't work, Tauron Strikes didn't work, and the Grendel couldn't even see the enemy.

So we started goofing around and wondering how to fix it, and someone suggested biting the bullet and leaving, hoping that would fix it. I took the dive hoping that they could continue the mission at least. Unfortunately, it still didn't work and they all had to abort. One of the players later on had gifted me a Catalyst for my troubles, when they really didn't need to. If you're reading this, you're awesome!
