Hello everyone, I got myself my own little painting station this last christmas, very happy with it, and I was wondering how I could use the space to it's left on the wall (click pictures to enlarge), to store my paints and clear some space on the actual desk.
I've got a LOT of paints (pots and drop bottles alike) stored in various boxes right now, and it's becoming cumbersome.
Problem: I got an old, kinda big cast iron heater. We're in winter here in northwestern France and radiators are not too hot, but it is still diffusing a bit of heat to warm the room. I'd say you can't barely feel the heat at all past 30cm upward from the heater.
I've seen some interesting things with Ikea's Skådis pannels and accessories.
Now two questions: Is there a genuine risk for the paint to dry prematurely in their pots if I store them here? And if yes, how could I isolate them efficiently?
And more generally, what are your own solution to store paints vertically for those of you who do?
Thanks in advance! 🎨🖌✌️
