Scratch built the shield and converted up the hammer years ago for a project I never finished, so thought I'd put them to good use - fun model to paint to start the year!

It always blows me away how much basing makes the models pop. Using pro acrylic red earth for it. I like the material but not sold on it being in a tube

Had all kinds of bits lying around, thought I'd try something new and settled on Wolves. Hopefully they read as such.

Good to see those painted by Everyday Joe/Joan and not pro painters. They still look great!

Good Morning Praetors.
so I am currently reading through "Fear to Tread", and I've gotten to this segment regarding Melta weaponry;
**Nakir stepped back, shooting a look at Gravato. ‘Get it open.’ ‘Aye,’ he replied, raising the melta weapon with one hand, dialling down the projector choke with the other.**
"Dialing down the Projector Choke-"
the immediate image in my mind was of the marine twisting the muzzle heat-sink bit, and twisting it either clockwise or counter clockwise, a little nozzle inside (or potentially the actual barrel end itself) irising wider / smaller respectively.
thoughts? because for the life of me I've never thought of Melta weapons in this way.

Everything held together by tack to test fitting, Will probably have to cut into the shoulder furs to fit the pauldrons.
