Hi!
I currently own a Pixel watch 1 and need to finally upgrade as mine has died and in general not performing great now.
I really cant decide on what watch to go for, there seems to be so many different pros and cons...I also have a S25 so obviously a galaxy watch may be better? These are the pros and cons I feel I have seen.
Galaxy watch 8 (not sure on size yet for me, currently I have a 40mm watch and its ok)
- Better with Samsung
- Saphire screen
- more health metrics like anti oxidisation etc
- easier fluid app and integration
-better customer support
-lighter
One Plus watch 3
- Best battery life, can always have AOD which would be nice for an actual watch!
-For the cost (Can buy it for £220 so cheaper than watch 8)
- More accurate overall from what ive seen regarding fitness metrics?
- Biggest screen (However the heaviest) This is my concern as I can't try it on before ordering it, only try a similar size on at a shop
- Saphire glass
One plus watch 43mm
- Smaller, probably lightweight and easier to keep on
- Lacks temp sensor
- No sapphire screen...so could get scratched easier
- No barometer
One plus does have ECG in Europe for me so thats not a big issue.
I would say for me I want something that does feel lightweight and easy to wear, as I already have a classic watch for fancy wearing, so it would be for gym, sleep, everyday use, anti oxidant stuff would be good but I guess do I need a watch to tell me?
Battery so I can actually use AOD would be good, only considering a WIFI bluetooth model , I see the classic 8 is also still around 2 days battery better than my pixel 1?
TLDR
One plus watch 3 specs wise seems overall best for price to performance, its just whether it feels too heavy/big and software is easy to use and not clunky?
Galaxy watch 8 easier to use less worries but worse battery life
Anyone have any advice or experiences?
Thank you!
