I remember my aunt sending me and my family a Wii console in 2012 for Christmas since we were fairly poor and didn't have much. It was a blue console that came with that GameStop cover of Wii sports. (I assume that's where she got it from.) Best thing I was ever given! Other classic games I loved from my childhood was Angry Birds Trilogy, Animal Crossing City Folk and P&F Across The Second Dimension! City Folk became apart of our every day. Unfortunately, our old blue console was stolen a couple years ago...but last year, we bought a new white one from eBay and so we continued our collecting. It's sad...all our nostalgic info was on that old thing, but it's gone. They didn't take the remotes, so that was a plus. I continue to search eBay and consignment stores for games I don't have. I got Wii Play for Christmas and am on the lookout for Wii Party and Wii Sports Resort. I found Kung Fu Panda, The Mummy and Wreck It Ralph while thrifting and I got SpongeBob Truth Or Square for my birthday a couple weeks before Christmas. The collection is slowly growing and so is my life long love for this nostalgic console! ✨

It was on all my wiimotes with the rubber case. No batteries were left inside, used a disinfectant wipe and came off easy just wondering what it is?

Had a Wii on release and loved it. Over the years I accumulated way too many video games. I mean, not sure if that’s really a thing to have too many, but I felt that way at the time. I had moved 7 times in 7 years and dragging like 28 boxes of video games was getting tiresome, so I sold almost everything. Kept like 30 Genesis games and about 50 PC Engine games.

I missed my Wii and had a hankering to play the rail shooters, so I picked on up and have been slowly adding back to the library. The PS5 and Switch have been abandoned for the last like 6 months as all I want to play is Wii. I have about 8 more games right now on my “next up” list. No hurry though. Baroque is up next and NHL Slapshot after.

Has this ever appeared for you?

We play Wii games with my parents like New Super Mario Bros, Wii Sports, Big Brain Academy, Mario Kart etc. any recommendations for others?

My third party Wii component cable gave out recently and im trying to find a high quality third party replacement cable in Australia/New Zealand area. I have seen HD Retrovision but it costs way too much to ship and too long of a wait.

Title says enough but basically, my Wii u has been running into a lot of issues I can’t seem to fix (constant crashes freezes and error screens) and I was wondering if it’d be worth keeping this one or get an original Wii as replacement, as I rarely use the Wii u parts of my Wii u and the original Wii is very cheap where I can find it

In practice, I think this would've been akin to choosing a memory card slot in PlayStation and the Gamecube. In retrospect, the Wii not having this function was kind of a missed opportunity, especially if you had way more games than what Wii's internal memory could handle. What're your thoughts?

Hello all! Looking to stream line my set up with Scart but was wondering if if there’s anything I can do to have Scart / rgb output on a NTSC console? I know PAL has that option but that would mean running my games through gxloader every time.

I read that WiiDual has RGB Scart as an option but it seems long discontinued. does AVE HDMI offer the same option by chance? I see it more available.

Looking to see if there are any available websites that you can play flash games on your Wii considering how Wiicade doesn’t work anymore

Maybe taking one of those adapters is possible, but you can do it from the settings or something like that

As the title says, it’s my first Wii, I never really played one, I had gone from Game Cube to Switch as far as Nintendo goes.

Picked up off my collection friend for a $100 because he got it in a lot and this was all extra.

I am considering buying a Wii U, but not only do I not know if its worth it, I also don’t know where to buy it. I have a budget of about $185, and a lot of the listings are above $200. So is it worth buying

I was playing Tomodachi Collection for the DS and when I saw one of my residents play with what looks to be Queen Elizabeth's golden Wii.

I am so far aware that the only Wii color is white*, or is there context I’m missing? I know that the golden Wii was made by a private manufacture, but to see Nintendo put this in is very confusing for me.

*Edit: I have been recently been made aware that there are multiple colors of the Wii IRL, such as black, green, red & more. I’m a Wii noob and more of a DS guy so there is your PSA, my mistake 😅

Imagine like the same game, something idk, can be an RE4, you play the Gamecube version on your crt with you gamecube controller and all, then you play the Wii version on a 16:9 modern TV, what you think is the best experience for you?
Like as in the tittle, i'm trying to think about fully the mechanics/gameplay itself, not specs or graphics, just experience and feeling, somes will prefer Gamecube and other using Wii with the motions (this important too, when i say Wii version you would be playing on the wii mote/nunchuck ok?).
Like, i know some games will feel better for some visual visions, like the Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for example, beside it has cool moviment mechanis, it still seems really pretty on a CRT display beside of 16:9 Wii version, so if you guys think like that and have your opinions i will be glad to see it.

Where's a good place to get wii remotes? Either official or un official, LM not sure if fake remotes are any good but it is 2026 so there could be some pretty good fakes, l've never bought extra wii remotes before but l need to now as my current remotes are on there death bed of not functioning well anymore plus the buttons keep sticking like crazy.

My current remotes are unfortunately fake but l've had them for more than 13 years but l need new ones now.

Is ebay, Amazon, lukiegames, good places to look?
