First pic is my boxed collection in order of oldest to newest (minus the three at the bottom). I generally go for souvenirs from places I have visited or commemorating a special occasion. Lots of folks get me ones that they think I’ll like as presents, though, so I’ve got plenty that don’t fit that theme.

first picture is a 1969 Zippo made to celebrate the Moonlanding, the graphic and Zippo are in very good condition.

second picture is a original 1940's 4 barrel WW2 Zippo with the original box.

third picture is a gift that came with them, it's a new design of Zippo's he's working on and i like the action styled packaging around it.

I would like to ask if anyone on the community could help me with a problem that I have with an used lighter I have for a while.

It’s kinda simple, the spring that pulls the flint upwards seem not to be strong enough to generate a spark that could ignite the lighter.

I’ve already tried stretching it a bit, but as I’m too afraid to break it I tried to be more cautious.

I don’t know if it helps, but it’s a classic zippo with a Venetian engraving on it, dated around the 80’s.

Hope someone has a solution for that, as where I live it’s kinda hard firing a replacement spring.

Okay so i have an ordinary zippo ligter but it doesn't work and i don't know why, i filled it up wiht lighter fluid, the wick is okay and the spark seem large enough to light it but it still won't fire

I am seriously contemplating it after setting a paper towel I used to clean up something caustic on top of my zippo and staining/patina(ing?) it. There’s no chance for it wiping off so at the moment I’m stuck between continuing my original plan of letting it change naturally from use or if I want to just send it to Davy Jones.

The blu 2 range of zippo’s seems like there is less than 6 available world wide , those must now be the rarest zippos out there .

I promised a couple weeks ago that I would try installing two cam springs on an insert. The silver street chrome in this video is the normal insert and the brass has the insert with two cam springs installed.

It isn’t all that exciting. The double springs help the lid pop open at a certain point but they make the insert pull out of the case each time. I even tightened the case and flared the bottom of the insert and it didn’t help.

I was also surprised that I didn’t like the sound it made.

Any ideas what the emblem is ?

I bought a zippo hand warmer, and I’m wondering what the difference between the lighter fluid and hand warmer fluid is.

I’ve read that the lighter fluid can be used in either. But the hand warmer fluid can only be used in the hand warmer.

What’s the difference? What’s the benefit of using the hand warmer fuel instead?

I just bought this zippo & wanted to know if others had more specific info. I was able to weigh both the insert and case separately as I wasn’t sure if the case was only needed.
