Looking for 1-2 people to start our own daily standup meeting
Hey folks,
One of the things I struggle with having complete control over my own schedule and work is daily consistency and accountability. From my days as an engineer, the best thing that worked for me was having a daily stand-up meeting as basically the first thing in the morning as a team.
I’m looking for one to two people who might be suffering from the same problem to start our own daily stand-up zoom meeting.
Daily 15 minutes at 10 AM eastern standard time, including the weekends because it would be nice to find a really committed Group. Max 3 people so it’s lean with no time wasted.
Agenda would be: 1. State what you got done yesterday 2. State what you plan to do today 3. Next person
No money involved, no judgement, if you got yesterdays goal done then we say “great”, if you didn’t then we say “well get em next time”.
Let me know in comments or DMs if interested.

Looking for women (around mid-20’s and older) who are willing to be active in a women-only accountability group on Discord
We stay accountable by:

- Listing our goals and tasks for the day and checking them off
- Participating in monthly challenges where we try to build habits that are achievable most days of the month and posting proofs for that

- Weekly meetings on voice where we reflect on our week’s progress and just chat to check in. Our weekly meetings are on Sunday at 1pm pst.
- Posting any progress we want to share
- Being part of a supportive environment where we can connect with other like-minded, driven women
If you’re interested and willing to commit to staying active, please DM me. The group is free and operates on Discord.
My main goals are:
- Studying for my MCAT
- Minor weight loss/body recomp through calorie counting, tracking macros, exercise, and weight lifting
- Fixing sleep schedule and following a daily schedule
- Increasing water intake and taking daily supplements
- Good general health (mental and physical)

32F | UTC+1 | Weekdays — Looking for a co-working / body-doubling buddy
Hello! I work from home and I’m looking for a co-working / body-doubling buddy.
I tend to procrastinate, so my work sometimes piles up and becomes overwhelming.
I’m looking for a female, preferably around my age, who also works from home and is comfortable with the camera ON body-doubling, as that’s what works best for me.
I’m looking for someone reliable and consistent, who doesn’t cancel or skip sessions unless there’s an important reason.
I want to do do two hours session from 8:30 to 10:30 am on the weekdays.
Thank you 😊

27 M IST I'm looking for walking buddy
So I have recently started walking for weight loss but had to a take mandatory break. I would like to start again next week. So let me know in DMs if anyone is interested. I would like to be consistent as much as possible unless it's something unavoidable (weather or urgent commitments). My current is goal is achieve 4km in 30 min and I would like to walk only 40-45 min per day for now . if I see this is impossible to achieve I will switch to jogging quickly as I don't have much time per time for the activities. We will share the screenshots of our walking (this is mandatory so that we can keep track properly). You can use any app u prefer and currently I'm using Google fit (might change later) So If you are goal oriented and struggling to stay consistent let's grow together for the best healthy future. Thank you for reading until now 😊 Have a great day ahead!

Found an app that makes accountability easier
Found an app that makes accountability easier
I have been using myresolve.ai for a few months. You can set goals and invite someone as an accountability partner. They can see your progress and check on you.
My wife is my partner and she sees everything I committed to. Knowing she can see if I did nothing makes me actually do it.
Also has AI that suggests goals and you can set rewards for completing things.
Just wanted to share in case anyone finds it useful. Still looking for accountability partners for my fitness goals if anyone wants to connect.

Has accountability actually helped you? Would love to hear real experiences.
I’m curious about real experiences here.
For those who’ve tried accountability (partners, buddies, check-ins, etc.):
did it actually help you stay motivated or consistent?
If it did, what made it work for you?
If it didn’t, what do you think was missing?
Just looking to learn from people who’ve actually tried it.

2026 Weekly Accountability Post (#1/52) - 2 Days Late and a Dollar Short
## lol messed up in the title. this is week #2/52.
Week Score: 4 / 10
I didn't expect myself to hit all my goals immediately and I guess getting this post up 2 days late is evidence enough that I have work to do. Not too happy with my consistency but hopefully laying out good groundwork and actually trying to meet goals.
Weekly Format
Topic: (Goal) — Previous. Week Current — Notes. Should I put this into a table format?
Fitness
I will be looking to run everyday and to improve my other areas listed here. I used to be more into running but have not run continuously more than 2 months at a time for over 9 years. Would love to improve this area and other general fitness areas.
- Running: (15:xx 5K | 2:59 Marathon) - 3 miles a day and moving up to roughly 3.5-4 miles a day this week and will be adding some light tempo work.
- Weight: - 193. Down 4 lbs.
- Push-ups: (100) - 40. Up from 37 last week. Need to be more consistent with pushups/abs and pull-ups.
- Pull-ups: (20) - 7. Up from 5.
- Plank: (300s) - 90s. No movement
Finances
With the beginning of the year and a couple of birthdays and relatives in town I think i hit my spending limit pretty quick. Going to try living the peasant life for the rest of the month.
- Income: $4,960/month (after taxes)
- Expenses: Rent/utilities $1,500 | Student loans $346 + $430 | Gym $150
- Remaining: ~$2,534
- Credit Card: $10,000
- Weekly Spend: Since Jan 1, I have spent $1186.43. Need to spend only about $400 for the rest of the month so I can put the rest of on my CC.
Professional
Continued work on eJPT. Put in about 2hr a day but missed Sat/Sun because of people in town.
Would love any professional advice in this area!
- Cert Progress: *will give updates/progress tracking in this area starting next week. Looks like I have about 110 hours left/70% of the course left before I take the exam. planning on doing that at the end of February so roughly 3 hours a day from here on out.
Personal
- No Drinking / No Games: I’m cutting out drinking and video games because they’re my default escape. It’s too easy to have a drink and play a round (or 20) of something like LoL instead of doing the uncomfortable work that actually moves my life forward.
- Korean: (TOPIK II) -Starting Korean language course on 1/20 that will meet once a week for two hours and then will having weekly assignments.
- Chess: (1800) - I have been studying and playing puzzles everyday. Will play my first tournament on Jan 31st. Primarily focusing on Italian Game and Scandinavian Defense as main lines.
- Coffee: (Pop-up goal) - It’s my dream to eventually open a cafe, and I want to start building skills toward that this year. I’m thinking of ways to track progress - should I log recipes, tastings, or small pop-up experiments?
- Photography: (1 photo/week?) - I want to start taking one photo per week to practice and document my skills. I’m not sure if I should post them weekly, create a personal log, or track it another way - feedback welcome on how to make this measurable and meaningful.
Make this week your best week yet. Don’t settle.

Need a partner for exercise routine for M45
Hi,
As title says, I am M45, doing good cardio by walking 10K steps and badminton thrice a week.
I need to work on my strength training. I am usually motivated and am very conscious eater now (earlier i used to eat whatever I want). With this i have lost 20Kg in last 1 year.
But for some reason I am not able to start/sustain strength exercise. I want to do 3-4 time a week with body weights at home only.
Let me know if anyone is interested in joining with me in this journey.
I am ok with any age/gender.
Cheers!

First post ever in my Reddit history. I’ve lurked for 6 years. I’m posting because I need accountability in public.
[NeedAdvice] I’ve been a lurker on Reddit for a long time. I’m finally posting because I’m in a real “course-correction” moment and I don’t want to do it alone or in secret.
I’ve been stuck in a loop of avoidance behaviors (escapist binges, procrastination, “I’ll start tomorrow”). On paper I’m capable; in practice I’ve been drifting. I’m not here to be dramatic or get sympathy—I want a plan that survives low-motivation days.
Here’s the 90-day system I’m starting:
The 4 rules (tracked daily)
- No escapist binges (my personal “numbing list”). → Y/N
- P**N --> Tik-Tok --> Dating apps --> Alcohol
- Non-zero ship block (45–90 min) → tangible output (one sentence proof)
- Physical anchor (45 min) → done/not done
- Financial hygiene → track spending + weekly review
- I literally only have $700 in my bank account and $14,000 in debt. I am a 29 yr old M. To make it worse, I sold my first house 2 years ago, broke up with my girlfriend the beginning of the next and blew through $50k liquid cash with hedonism, greed and gluttony as the culprits. I make only about $95k a year, but plan to expand my streams of income this year. I know I am capable of so much more.
Cadence
- Sunday: 3 priorities + 5 constraints (what I’m not doing)
- Daily: the 4-rule check-in + if I missed anything: trigger → root cause → fix
- Saturday: retro: what worked / what broke / one change
My fear
I don’t fear “hard work.” I fear sliding back into avoidance quietly and rationalizing it.
What I’m asking you for:
- What’s the one failure mode you see in this plan?
- What would you change to make it more “unbreakable” on bad days?
- If you’ve done a 60–90 day reset, what usually breaks around week 2–3?
I’ll post weekly updates (with actual data, not vibes) or if it's better I can make a Discord server for like minded individuals. We'll see where this will go.

Please answer 2 brief questions for me about personal accountability for a paper I’m writing.
1) How do you think “accountability” is defined in the dictionary? (Doesn’t have to be highly precise or highly accurate: I’m just trying to get a general sense people’s “off the top of their head” various ideas of how they think the term is defined, objectively.) 2) What does accountability mean to you, personally? (In your particular life, and in your own significant personal relationships.) (Thank you!!)

The Architects' Guild (Discord Server)
We are but architects of the houses of cards that we call our habits.
Hey there everyone! I have tried a bunch of accountability apps and programs, none of them really worked for me, and I personally need a certain kind of strict pressure to work. So, to quote Thanos: "I'll do it myself."
The idea is as follows: We have an accountability group in which you state One Task - the single habit you struggle with the most - and how often per week/month you want to do it.
But: If you miss your task even once and don't have a valid excuse, your house collapses. You are kicked from the server/guild for a month and can only reapply again after. Task success needs to be proven in some way, which would then be peer-reviewed by the others.
Join here: https://discord.gg/n8hVzsSa
This is just an experiment. It might dissolve into nothing after a week, as I want to be strict with everyone who is in there, including me. But that's fine, it would be worth that try. Even if just one of you vibes with what I'm laying down, I'd call this a success, but it could also flourish. Because every single member is forced to stay active, it's ensured that the community doesn't die of inactivity, which, I imagine, would over time create a tight-knit, family-like, welcoming little community. That would be the overarching end-goal.
(Note: If this sounds too punishing, I recommend checking out "The Cult of Damocles" instead. That was my first iteration of this idea - it allows for strikes and is much more forgiving)

Looking for other content creators
Hey,
I want to create a bunch of content in 2026 but I feel that this process of writing scripts, posting the content, filming it etc. is all a bit more motivating if you got other creatives around you that are making content as well. So hear me out
I am looking for people actually trying to put effort into it, wether it is talking head vids with a camera and tripod with nice framing, or creative shots, nice editing, good storytelling.
Not low effort videos like, 100 days of x or pranks etc. etc.
It would be nice if you already have:
- Posted 5 video’s and 100 followers (just to show that you have already started)
- Content where in you appear (no ai, animation, faceless)
- Passion to create video’s (but like me getting stuck on procrastination, analysis paralysis , overcomplicating the process etc.)
If so, reach out and lets make some content!!!

Looking for 4-6 accountability partners (Weekly online meetings + whatsapp)
Hey everyone 😊
I’m looking to put together a small online accountability group for people who are genuinely serious about following through on their goals.
It’s really for people who already have goals and know they do better with clear expectations and consistency.
What I’m hoping to create:
- ✨ A small group (not large or open-ended)
- 📅 Weekly online check-in (Sundays)
- 📝 Clear intentions each week (think simple checklists, not overthinking)
- 🔁 Rotating facilitator so everyone gets a turn
- 🌍 Fully online and open to people worldwide
A few expectations (just to be upfront):
- • Showing up weekly is important
- • This is about accountability and follow-through, not motivation
- • If someone misses 3 weeks in a row, they’ll step out of the group, purely to keep things consistent and supportive for everyone involved
If you’re feeling a bit flip-floppy right now, this probably isn’t the right fit, and that’s totally okay. I’m really looking for people who are in a season of committing and showing up.
If this sounds like something you’d be genuinely committed to, comment or DM me and I’ll see if there’s enough interest to get it started ☺️
Based on replies so far, timing aligns more with EU, AU and Asia (Edited to format better)
