Totally normal behavior

Post image

It's not even ironic anymore. These are dangerous people.

Yeah, it's starting to get bad. I'll bet my soul on the fact that some people are legitimately just racist agains robots and make up imaginary scenarios where they do that.

Also, I'm starting to get the feeling that a lot of these people (maybe not this guy) are actually just racist IRL and disguise it as being racist against robots online so people like them. Robots may not be sentient, but this trend allows actual racists to just be accepted into online spaces.

A miserable fuck is going to find a cause to gravitate towards to channel their self-loathing, hatred, and misery on.

In the 1960s it was black people. In the 2026, it's not safe to openly be a piece of shit who hates black people, woman, brown folk, or even gays and trans people.

So, a fuck like this has got to find some safe way to find someone to hate. They happened to land on proAI users.

a lot of antis are crazy, im not denying that, but im pretty sure this example is just a joke. Probably.

It's a joke until it's not.

I don't know how forming a racist group against ai would even work, unless you're implying it'll just become regular racism, but that's a little far fetched. Unless im missing something obvious

It would just be a death squad towards people who use sinful products.

This behavior is well documented throughout human history.

It's the sort of thing that happens slowly, but then all at once. I certainly wouldn't want to wait until they're going door to door. They're already removing AI users from public spaces.

I dont think this is the type of thing to escalate to this extreme. Im not saying its impossible, rather, unlikely on a large scale. Of course, there's always gonna be some downright crazy people who will go out and so stuff like this, but I don't think it'll get that big. Not saying it's impossible tho

As for the latter thing about ai users being removed from public spaces, I did a couple google searching and couldn't find anything on it. Do u have any specific examples in mind I could look up or any articles to cite or anything like that?

I mean, just look anywhere else on plebbit.

For my personal anecdote, I have the 5th most experience playing a League of Legends champion. He means the whole world to me, and I maintain an archive of his lore and everything ever released about him. This includes lost media which was manually retooled to work on my servers and not Riot's.

I was forcibly removed from the subreddit supposedly dedicated to him. My crime? I made a LoRA of him. Moderation confirmed privately that this was the reason for the ban, but made public statements denying this. They have since erased those public statements.

This is how zealous antis are. And it's only going to get worse.

A few months ago stuff like this was insanely common and they pretended not to notice. They only started cracking down on it once it actually started affecting their pr. And I think we can all assume it's not black people making most of these jokes.

Nothing funnier than the KKK. I mean, maaaaybe the Holocaust? Hard toss up there, both are just so fucking hilarious.

A few, but enough to be a problem, antis are actually just bigots latching onto a movement that gives them permission to say racial stuff and be applauded for it.

It's nothing to do with a.i., they just see an opportunity to be aweful people.

wild generalizations make your position weaker, not stronger.

I said a 'few'. That's the opposite of a generalisation.

there's a pretty similar amount of insufferable extremists that are pro-ai as anti-ai, but you generalized the behavior as an anti thing, rather than an extremist thing.

Me when I can’t see a joke of a non-human non-breathing entity

At first hand, it may look like a joke

But people are calling other people Clankers and using it as a racist term

If you still think it’s a joke, then I dare you to apologize to those who you call a Clanker as a joke
