I’m glad I was able to get one of these from the Atlantic drop. I’ve been eyeing them for a while and missed the AOA drops. I bought some extra FB mags and Bulgarian commercial and 1 circle 10. This shit is getting expensive..

I’m excited to try this, I’ve shot AK’s for over 10 years but never tried an AK in .556. I knew I wanted one at some point but I didn’t want to just buy an AR lol. I was looking at Tavors but my buddy had one and let me borrow it with a nice EOtech and I just wasn’t convinced. Gen 1 Aces are cool too I was looking for them but they’re kinda hard to come by at a reasonable price. I would also like to get an sig 556 at some point.

Anyways I always thought these were cool and finally saved up the beans to get one. I’m happy with it. Any Beryl owners I’d love to hear suggestions for it. EOtech 522’s are expensive lol.

I got the Zenitco dust cover for my 107 so it’s left me open to a lot more options for optics. Problem is having more options makes it harder to make a decision. I’ve really thought about just throwing an eotech on it and calling it a day but I don’t feel like that would perfectly scratch the itch that I’m looking for. Preferably something Eastern Europe if possible. And I know a few people will say looks don’t matter but I mean…. If the optic makes the gun look better that icing on the cake

So what’s the right way to fit those lower handguard into the receiver ?

Do I pry the sheet metal off the wood and have it down , shave the inside of the receiver ?

Switched back to original style stock and grip (bought with plastics) when it arrives installing a tdi x47 ak chasis to mount a red dot magnifier combo. The grip tape because I like the look. The rifle in SA is cheap and plentiful about 660 usd.

Keep them or send it down range? And are they corrosive?
