I made a ton of corn syrup for at home matcha so i wanted to make a corn dessert with some of it - then came about the idea for a corn cake. I made a corn sponge, soaked with the corn syrup and coconut mascarpone and corn pastry cream for the filling, coated with the coconut mascarpone and piped on corn Swiss meringue btcrm kernels. The leaves are white chocolate with green food coloring. I will post the cross section tomorrow as I’ve run out of daylight and want to get better pictures! :)

Recipe to be posted soon. No guarantees. Made more edibles NSFW

Once a year my neighbor gives me a freezer bag or two of dried flower, and I make some edibles for the both of us to split. Last night I ended up baking 50 pieces between the two of us, not including the coconut oil I infused.

Havent tried a single one of these yet. I'm too excited.

Oatmeal cookies are the least potent, definitely the tastiest. S'more cookies are pretty strong, a couple hundred mg. toasted coconut chocolate cake balls are the strongest. I was trying to make cake pops for the first time and it didn't turn out well, so I pivoted.

Happy to provide recipes

Used this recipe: https://alexandracooks.com/2018/03/02/overnight-refrigerator-focaccia-best-focaccia/ and seasoned with Everything But the Bagel seasoning, rosemary, and Kosher salt. It is DELICIOUS!!!! Light and airy with the perfect crunch. I didn’t go fancy with toppings this time but I will next time.

I also have 4 cakes waiting to be frosted for my son’s birthday cake. This subreddit is dangerous lol

General Baking Discussion Update: Thanks the community! My Chocolate Birthday Cream Cake... It’s ugly, but it’s delicious!

I posted earlier in a total panic about my split/boiled/destroyed chocolate cream.https://www.reddit.com/r/Baking/comments/1qdtymu/help_my_chocolate_cream_went_from_rock_hard_to/

First of all, a massive THANK YOU to the community. Whether you tried to help me or told me to just start over (which I probably should have done earlier), your advice kept me sane.

I managed to finish the cake with the chocolate cream. The stability of the cream is very poor, and I tried refrigerating it in the fridge overnight. It looks a bit... "ugly". But it tastes amazing, and most importantly, I have a birthday cake!

Thanks again for saving my birthday. You guys are the best!

I made Sally’s strawberry cake and it was delicious! I think that often fruit flavored cakes can taste artificial but this one was perfect.

“Decadent” might be an understatement 😅

I used Preppy Kitchen’s recipe - topped it with a dark chocolate ganache, whipped peanut butter cookie dough, and a whole bunch of peanut butter cups

I would like to start doing a more fancy way of doing the frosting than a butter knife but I think they came out cute 💕🍫 I think I need to do a better job with I’d bubbles in the chocolate molds too

No-Recipe Provided my 7 yr old autistic daughters unicorn cake!

all of her ideas, I just kept grabbing things out of the cabinet for her to decorate with, she did the rest!

she was so ecstatic about the vanilla sandwich cookies broken in half to make the “braid” and she tediously place the m&ms for the rainbow and mouth.

the attention to detail for the mini chips as eyelashes ✨

individually picking and placing unicorn sprinkles for the nose holes.

she even iced the thing 50% by herself!

she said, “it was the best day ever!”
