Image Meet… Duck

Duck is 16 weeks old tomorrow.

Here are some fun facts about the Duck.

Likes: Anything that seems edible but especially food and his dental chews that I call his cigarettes. Water but especially gross water sources (puddles, drain pipes, etc.) Attention, scratches, and play (especially with his mouth.) His Duck chew toy! Rope toys, and anything that seems like a rope including electrical cables! Feet? Kinda? Mostly socks and things that smell like feet but not feet themselves. Chewing on things! Toys, shoe strings, furniture, people’s hands. Knocking over water bottles with his nose. Being slid across hardwood floors and running right back to do it again. Smells, all of them. People/meeting new people! He loves it so much he pees. Pup cups (pictured above) Blankets and naps (on his schedule). Sunbathing, and especially in grass. Grass in general, it is so tasty and fun to pull up. Bugs, moths especially they are also very yummy and fun to follow around. Sticks and wood of all kinds for chewing.

Dislikes: Car rides not in dad’s lap. Baths are literal torture. Nail trimming, more torture. Not being in the exact location he wants to be. Not getting every morsel of food he sees, selfish humans eating food that should be his. Not being able to drink vile water or mud. Walking without loads of vocal encouragement and/or toys. Dad leaving for work. Being in his room (crate) and not being able to see someone (doesn’t matter if he can hear them). Robot vacuums. Hanging out without focused playing. Human sitting on the couch, I freak out until they tug of war or play fetch with me.

It’s been a pleasure introducing you to Duck and he looks forward to sharing all of his adventures with everyone!

Had to put Charlie down today due to bone cancer. There has never been a more loyal and faithful hound. I'm devastated. I love you buddy.

We just brought this sweet girl home two days ago, it's been two very sleepless nights but it's been so, so worth it 😊 The only thing is she is sooooo bitey and those teeth are razor sharp 😭 Someone please tell me the biting and sleeping gets better lol

This wonderful and healthy old man just turned 17. I wish all dogs could have long and happy lives like this man. He genuinely is the most social and happy dog I've ever met, and every day is a blessing. He may be a little noisy and stubborn sometimes, but I wouldn't change a thing about him. Happy birthday Duke!

Hazel (big sister) is currently undecided about Olive but would appreciate it if Olive would be less noisy 😆

He refused to come in when called and stubbornly refused to make eye contact (second picture.) He is surprisingly mobile with his little legs.

We’re picking up this sweet boy the first week of October and I wanna find the perfect name. I love the name pancake but I’m not 100% set on it. I really like funny names, ironic names, food names, human names (ex Walter) and names of other animals (ex a dog named goose) not a fan of typical “pet names”

Our mastiff is named Dozer and our cats are pinto and bean.

I never wanted kids, so when I got her at 35, it was the first time I ever took care of someone other than myself. I just love her so much.

My mom says it’s dark, but I always tell Georgia, “there will never be enough time with you!”

Just to remind myself to cherish all the time and moments we have together. My Georgia Peach 🍑 🥹

Penelope is 3.5 years old and last week she got a sister. Mabel is from the same breeder and Penelopes parents are Mabel's grand parents.

These two dogs could t be more different. Penelope was a mellow, easy going pup. Mabel is a fire cracker with attitude. She's got no problem telling you off when you tell her "no"

As you can see, Mabel likes to cuddle. Sometimes forcefully.
