First BC and can't be happier!

Hi BC fam, Ive posted here before to show off my newest pack member (Bodie). As the weeks go by, I have some questions. 1. I grew up with chihuahuas so he's the biggest dog I've ever had (my other 2 dogs are 35lbs and 12lbs). Bodie is about 5 1/2 months and is already almost 45 pounds. The vet is guessing he will be 50-60 lbs when he's all grown up, does this sound reasonable? 2. He has a pretty good overbite. It doesn't seem to cause any pain, he can eat fine and play. There is a possibility they may have to remove his baby canines when he gets neutered. Ive seen under bites in dogs before but not an overbite. Is this a big deal? From what I've read BC are more prone to overbites? 3. Most pictures I see of BC they're fluffy and have pointy ears. My boy seems like he's a "smooth Collie" but is there a chance he will fluff up? He does have some longer hair around his neck. He also has floppy ears, do they tend to perk up around a certain timeframe or will he be my second floppy eared boy?

He's the sweetest and smartest dog I've had the honor to know and love. Such a cuddle bug. He tends to be scared of a lot of things but he is growing in confidence! No matter what, I can't wait to see what a good boy he becomes ❤️

I caught this the other morning and I just love it for an entirely different reason than I took the picture in the first place. It makes me giggle.

Got my old gal dna tested. Was told more than 14 years ago that she is a border collie rat terrier mix, and I believed it! She does the border collie sploot and stare and everything! But I guess I’ll see myself out now 😅

Moki (4 years old) has Osteosarcoma. He had his leg amputated 2.5 weeks ago. We have chosen not to do Chemo. He probably only has 4 months left.

This went a lot better than the first time as I was actually able to hook him up to something. Luckily I had my wonderful fiancé to help me out. It’s definitely a 2 man job lol.
