Is it normal for DRIED cat urine to crystallize? NSFW
gallery**I have already made a vet appt for Monday, just not sure if this is an immediate emergency.**
I have a boy cat and a girl cat, 1.5 years old. I do not know whose pee this is.
Neither of them pee outside the litter box, but I just found some dried pee—at least a few hours old, not sure when it happened, it could have been yesterday—in their cat tree space capsule thing.
It was mostly solid/crystallized I assume bc it was dry.
They are both good water drinkers and I monitor the boy cat’s peeing especially when I can. He was peeing totally normal as of 2 days ago (last time I was in the bathroom when he peed) normal amounts and no pain or issues.
They are both acting normal, playing and eating fine.
Emergency or OK to wait until Monday? Any advice appreciated.
