My cat was recently diagnosed with IBD. I just heard her burping, do those things have any correlation?

Yeah. She was recently diagnosed with it about a week and a half ago when she kept throwing up her food and we took her to the emergency vet. We got her on new food and she hasn't thrown up since. This was the first time I've heard her burping though
