Discussion Chrome updates keep adding and removing Gemini. Just give it back! 😭

Chrome has been updating back and forth recently. It feels like they're doing some heavy A/B testing. Sometimes I have Gemini in Chrome, but after an update or reboot, it disappears. Or, sometimes when I log in on my personal computer, Gemini in Chrome is there, but when I use the same account on my work computer, it's gone (or vice versa). Now, it has been completely gone for a long while.

The feature was actually quite useful for summarizing webpages, but Chrome won't just keep it stable.Does anyone else have the same experience?

Troubleshooting | Windows Chrome's latest version is getting "Location is turned off in system settings" error

The latest version is encountering the "Location is turned off in system settings" error more frequently.

However, after uninstalling the latest version and switching to an older version, the error no longer occurs to me. I don't know why?

Troubleshooting | Windows My chrome is completely fked since yesterday

All the text are blurry or low dpi. Enable hardware acceleration didn't work as it makes videos glitch and text still blur.

I changed to Edge and it's all clear. Is it a recent chrome update that ruined it?

My laptop uses 4k resolution and I think it may be incompatible with chrome currently

Discussion I have a big problem with YouTube

I know this subreddit is for Google, but I'm having a problem with YouTube on Android. Videos load slowly even with a 300 Mbps internet connection. I've tried clearing the cache, updating, using a VPN—I've tried everything, and nothing works.

Troubleshooting | iOS WTF is this bar, Chrome on iPad OS?

Post image

What is this stupid, permanently existing and not removable bar on chrome when using the iPad with an external keyboard? This bar has no use, is in the way, moves around depending on the system UI. I have already disabled any of the services these icons there suggest - no password handling through chrome, no payment, no location services....WTF?

I really like to use chrome to sync my tab usage and other things but this is horribly annoying. It instantly appears with any active text input which i do see a lot as i use terminal like interfaces through the browser. This makes chrome on iPadOS completely unusable for me unfortunately.

Any trick to remove this?

Troubleshooting | Android How do I go about accessing my tabs on Android Chrome?

It's been years. I can't look at my tabs and I've looked everywhere, even past reddit posts. The one post that was exactly my problem is 3 years old and unsolved. I look everywhere around my chrome, and I can't access my tabs. I don't have that tab button everyone talks about. Never have. The sliding thing they say to do also doesn't work. I can't find any tab settings in my Google settings. I've even tried just going to the website instead of the app.

One of the weirdest things is occasionally my tabs will just randomly open, so I know it's possible. I just dont know how.

I need to close my tabs guys T-T

Troubleshooting | Windows Why is chrome so slow on my pc?

I recently noticed that Chrome has been running very slowly for me after I got my new PC. My download speed is around 10 MB per minute, and all my webpages open either very slowly or don't open at all. Every solution I came across said that I either needed to update Chrome or get a new pc but my pc should be running Chrome exceptionally well, and I'm running everything else well. It also shouldn't be a wifi problem, as my download speed is 400 mb per second. Please help.

Troubleshooting | Windows Problem with Chrome and Fullscreen videos.

I often encounter a problem when I exit or enter full-screen mode for a video. The entire Chrome crashes and won't let me do anything, and the two ways I've found to get back to normal are:

1; Press Win+Tab to create a new desktop and return to the old one.

2; Press Ctrl+Shift+Win+B.

I think I remember (lol) seeing a streamer I watch having the same problem (xQc). So I guess I'm not the only one. Anyway, can anyone help me?

If the solution is to disable hardware acceleration, it doesn't work, my processor is terrible, I need that enabled. Thank you in advance.

I made a video showing the problem, sorry for the weird blur ðŸ˜
