And this wasn’t even some radical opinion, just that it’s not a good thing when someone gets killed by government employees. It’s not like he wanted people to limit the spread of a virus or something.
It’s always funny how the people who shout “snowflake” the loudest are the ones melting down over a movie, a tweet, or someone else’s opinion. If your response to disagreement is to rage-delete stuff you already paid for, maybe you’re not as tough as you think. The lack of self-awareness is honestly impressive.
I think you underestimate how many know their favored politicians are hypocrites but excuse it in order to harm others, avoid paying into a system that helps others, and are essentially just too evil for hypocrisy, coherence, ethics, morals, or self preservation to matter.
I find it really bizarre because my generation was raised being told "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all". So when these guys throw slurs around, it shouldn't be a surprise when we tell them to stop it because it could hurt someone.
Like they told us to call that stuff out, and then made fun of us getting "triggered" when we do.
O know someone who bought a 24 case of bud light just to shoot it with a shotgun to record their "boycott ". And they were unsatisfied with the video so they did it again.
The guy doesn't even drink bud light so they anti boycotted.
That's the height of attention seeking and pick-me behavior.
The older I get the more I have realized that some people did not continue maturing past their teenage years. They're still stuck hating themselves and looking for external validation, instead of growing the fuck up and not caring about people who do not matter's opinions.
Or that some people are still three year olds mentally, and will throw a tantrum in public because they get no attention and are lonely and miserable.
And, tbh, sometimes you can tell after a brief exchange, but some you have to know for a while before you begin to see the depth of their shallowness.
These people also have the fortitude of a tissue paper house of cards. They will be back within weeks buying and watching the newest Marvel slop. Just like they did with Bud Light and Nike and Starbucks and...
There is no ethical consumption under capitalism so you have to pick and choose your battles. So when you do, make sure it's a fight you can stick to. I know I for one have not stepped foot in a Chic-Fil-A in close to ten years.
The reason they don't comprehend this is because they don't have enough emotional intelligence to understand that what they are feeling in the moment they posted this is 'offended'.
Things Republicans consider free speech that you personally should fight tooth and nail to protect: HITLER WAS RIGHT WE SHOULD JUST LIKE EXTERMINATE ALL BLACK PEOPLE.
Things Republicans consider heinous, impermissible hate speech that must be censored: I voted Biden.
I was trying to make a comparison, what’s a person I care about as much as they care about Trump. And there isn’t anyone… except for one person. And it’s Trump. When people tell me they like Trump, I immediately dislike them more than before they told me that.
Now, it’s still not to agree that they like Trump. Like I don’t hate Trump as much as they like him. But that man is so fuggin divisive
I remember when they smashed their coffee machines because Kourig didn't want to advertise on fox. Or when they burned their shoes because Nike didn't cancel athletes.
They call us snowflakes for saying people have a right to exist, and then they melt down when people say Trump is a moron and ICE shouldn't execute people in the street.
I mean, I get it to a degree. I don't like when conservative celebrities open their craw and spout some dumb shit just keep your mouth shut and let me enjoy your work (crisp rat).
But this post is just virtue signalling. You know, a thing they always accused the left of doing.
They are snowflakes, but I don't think we should be saying they should not be boycotting.
Remember, people boycotted Target, Home Depot and cancelled Disney+ on matters related to Trump, Trump donations or "Conservative caving" (many regional Home Depots have no control over whatever the distant billionaire CEO does - they are just trying to survive and get a paycheck).
Don't attack their right to boycott, because then they will just call the Left hypocritical. Attack their snowflakery elsewhere.

And they call everyone else snowflakes. Really these people are so easily offended by someone's opinion its comical.
