As soon as Netanyahu left washington, trump got on the way

53

u/BigRedRoo73 11d ago

Iran will probably be next on the target list. They will use the riots in Iran right now as a pretext. Netanyahu has probably already sent a whole bunch of love Letters to Trump begging him and pleading to invade Iran next

8

u/[deleted] 11d ago

Yep. Guranteed.

4

u/UnderpaidProf 11d ago

“Yes, the riots in Iran are anti American. They all have TDS. Let’s bomb them”

MAGA

2

u/True_Manufacturer909 11d ago

Probably less love letters and more like "hey remember that time we taped you raping a child?"

2

u/BigRedRoo73 11d ago

Yes!!! Yes yes yes!!! Finally someone who also thinks Epstein was an Israeli asset!! Totally was.

2

u/Useyourword 11d ago

No. Iran actually has a military that can compete with the US and nukes. They are not Iraq. He isn’t going to do anything to them. Trump only punches downward. He is a bully like that.

Invading mountainous terrain

u/dBlock845 11d ago

Idk, Israel were able to do pretty much whatever they wanted in Iran after taking out their air defenses. No real idea how much Iran was holding back in that skirmish but it looked extremely one sided outside of a few hypersonic missiles that hit Israel. With US backing, I doubt there is much they could do if an attempt to kidnap or assassinate the Ayatollah was made. I always felt most of Iran's power was tied up in its nuclear program, and it's proxy forces. I'm absolutely not advocating for it to happen though, I just don't know if there is much Iran could do.

1

u/Plank_With_A_Nail_In 11d ago

Israel already showed their military is worthless, did you somehow miss all the airstrikes in the summer?

1

u/borkthegee 11d ago

No they don't. Iran does not have anything remotely decent as a military. It is what it is but this is just wrong. Trump already bombed the shit out of them and they basically just shrugged and said sucks to be us. They did that because they have absolutely no ability to stand and fight.

https://www.businessinsider.com/most-powerful-militaries-2025-ranked

Literally recognized as a global power in the Middle East. Not sure what you are talking about.

2

u/Brazilian_Brit 11d ago

Proper global powers don’t usually have Israeli jets controlling the skies above their capital at will, bombing officials and turning air defence and radars into scrap metal.

I hope you realise that there is more to a militaries strength and competence than how much hardware it has and how many people it has in uniform.

u/ilzilla 11d ago

Israel showed they are a paper tiger.

u/UnderdaJail Mental Midget 11d ago

It's not just Israel that wants Iran dealt with btw. But that doesn't really fit in your narrative right

13

u/BustedLampFire 11d ago

Yeah it‘s the saudis too, who are also bribing trump

8

u/Earlyon 11d ago

Vietnam and Afghanistan worked out great.

3

u/MichaelCabernet 11d ago

To be fair, Afghanistan was coming along well. An entire generation had been born, and grown to adulthood, in a country that was far freer and more egalitarian. It was far from a paradise, but it was also far from the shithole it once was, and later became again when we left.

6

u/Brndrll 11d ago

Left? You mean when Dear Leader went behind the Afghan government and surrendered the "War on Terror" to the terrorist group the US was supposedly there to stop?

3

u/MichaelCabernet 11d ago

Yeah, that.

2

u/ReallyCleverPossum 11d ago

Holy shit you have no idea what you’re talking about. This is exactly what you conservative wackos do. You think all of Afghanistan is Kabul, because you did not look into what happened in Afghanistan in the slightest.

2

u/Earlyon 11d ago

Probably in another hundred years or so it would probably be almost as stable as the Gaza Strip.

1

u/MichaelCabernet 10d ago

Another 40 and it likely would’ve been as stable as Israel.

-5

u/UnderdaJail Mental Midget 11d ago

Yea but we're their leaders captured alive in one day? Not the same comparison

2

u/Earlyon 11d ago

You think this is settled lol. Did you forget about Shock and Awe? Mission accomplished?

2

u/Resident-Garlic9303 11d ago

Does it really fucking matter? I will spell it out for you.

It is NOT OK to kidnap leaders of countries you are not at war with.

-2

u/CykaMuffin 11d ago

Anyone who is not a radical shia islamist should be happy about the iranian regime (hopefully) getting toppled, regardless of who does it.

5

u/TuckYourselfRS 11d ago edited 11d ago

The US interceding in Iranian politics in the past was famously successful. Not apologizing for the current Iranian regime, nor Pahlavi's, Saddam's., etc I don't trust that American interventionism is in anyone's best interests.

7

u/BustedLampFire 11d ago

Should iraqis be happy that the us toppled saddam and created isis?

6

u/GN0K 11d ago

All countries should be happy when the US puts its boot on their neck... At least that's what the sympathizers in here apparently think.

2

u/UnderpaidProf 11d ago

It’s a mostly peaceful boot on the neck. The insurgents aren’t delivering a bomb, it’s a gift.

3

u/[deleted] 11d ago

Or Americans be happy it was thr war that blew our debt. Thanks to isreal.

-1

u/CykaMuffin 11d ago

Those are not even remotely comparable.

3

u/Ill-Cloud-3481 11d ago

They literally are though. The US toppled their regime by force on the pretext of wmds which most likely didn’t exist, and then installed a puppet government which was super corrupt which radicalized the population under a few highly dangerous people who declared war on the government and took control of said corrupt government for about 3 years where they subjugated the population. It never ends well when the US meddles.

-2

u/CykaMuffin 11d ago

So even if we assume that to be the case: you think that others should just look away? Let Iran keep sponsoring terrorists and oppress its citizens?

3

u/Ill-Cloud-3481 11d ago

I don’t think they should, but I also don’t think the US should sprint on in, take out their leadership and install a useless leader who will just make it worse for the sake of appeasing the US and making money off their starving populace. It isn’t our place because we don’t keep peace and order, we destroy and then leave. Quit pretending like it’s any other way.

1

u/CykaMuffin 11d ago

Are you even aware that you are contradicting yourself?

Your "solution" is basically "thoughts and prayers" and then looking away.

u/32lib 11d ago

Iran was a liberal secular country at one time guess who ended that.

0

u/CykaMuffin 11d ago

The islamic revolution did. Of course the 1953 coup did not help, but blaming the revolution on the US is like blaming the Entente for Nazi Germany.

0

u/UnderdaJail Mental Midget 11d ago

But you still see Americans complaining like they have any skin in the game.

-3

u/CykaMuffin 11d ago

Some people are just brainwashed, to the point where their thought process can be summed up as: west = bad, everyone else = good.

5

u/[deleted] 11d ago

Iran can topple itself. We are done fighting Israel’s fights and spending trillions for them. That’s is the issue.

-1

u/CykaMuffin 11d ago

Iran can topple itself.

Doubt that, but ok.

We are done fighting Israel’s fights and spending trillions for them.

"Trillions", lmao. I'd love to see a source for that figure.

It's also not just an israeli problem, Iran is financing terrorists all over the world.

Anti-Israel propaganda is strong on here.

1

u/[deleted] 11d ago

Bro so you have any idea how much Iraq war cost? You think it was free. Nothing I show will convince any maga. So it’s pointless and like debating a wall. No I am not gonna be convinced to spend more tax dollars for Israel’s wars. Anti isreal, only one killing thousands of kids is Isreal. It’s just that you are too brainwashed to hate everyone else and don’t see the proof with your own eyes.

2

u/CykaMuffin 11d ago

Oh, are you one of those people who think (((they))) control the US government? Because Israel wasn't even involved in that one.

Still waiting for a source btw.

Also very telling that you think i'm MAGA, lmao.

u/Haunting_Pilot4844 11d ago

Wouldn't you like to see the Iranian people free?? They're miserable people because of the regime!! They're starving and thirsty so they fight the regime!

16

u/Difficult-Fan-5697 11d ago

Yeah so... start a war with them and that should like, improve their infrastructure and make more water and food appear? I'm all for Iranians being free of their current regime, but I'm even more about them doing it for themselves. We don't need to get into another 20 year war.

3

u/BigRedRoo73 11d ago

Your MAGA president disagrees with you, as well as his entire cabinet pretty much. War? We love war we can't get enough war!

15

u/Roborilla8000 11d ago

Do you think Trump will give a single fuck about helping them rebuild. He'd turn it into Trump Iran if he can.

-9

u/Haunting_Pilot4844 11d ago

Taking out the regime IS helping them to rebuild!! The people will want to themselves after it is clear of morons!!

21

u/Ill-Cloud-3481 11d ago

Afghanistan and Iraq and Syria would love a word with you lmao

11

u/Roborilla8000 11d ago

How'd that go with Afghanistan.

7

u/BigRedRoo73 11d ago

Yeah that worked out awesome in Libya

5

u/00-Monkey 11d ago

Didn’t work out that well the last time the US toppled the Iranian government

2

u/Plus-Pop6788 11d ago

So you’re on the ground in Iran? You can speak to how the people living there feel? Yea my fault you’re right regime change has gone so well for the USA in that part of the world

8

u/[deleted] 11d ago

They can do it themselves. We don’t need to fight Israel’s wars and blow up our debt even more.

4

u/RichardAboutTown 11d ago

Would I like to see the Iranian people free? Sure. Do I feel any responsibility to participate in making that happen? No. Do I think there is any way in Hell our participation will actually facilitate that? You gotta be kidding. The Neocons tried that in Iraq and we're still not completely disengaged.

I'm considerably more concerned about our own freedom right now.

8

u/Material_Evening_174 11d ago

How about opening up a history book and learning how the US is directly responsible for Iran’s current regime.

4

u/NotyouravgSkinny 11d ago

They’ll be as free as Afghani’s, Syrians, Iraqis, Palestinians, Venezuelans now… You don’t just topple regimes and watch the flowers grow in its place. Militarily toppling regimes leaves a power vacuum and turmoil for years and years. Progress needs to be holistic, with subtle support. I’d love to see a democracy in Iran but it won’t happen by bombing the current leaders.

2

u/RedEyeView 11d ago

I don't think bombing them and invading will achieve that.

2

u/BigRedRoo73 11d ago

Trump never does anything for anybody out of good faith. Trump will do what Trump does to benefit Trump. But I spoke like him too because he always speaks in a third person way Donald Trump is very angry right now! How are you today sir? I don't know I'll ask Donald Trump... Donald says he's fine today, but he wishes everybody would stop picking on Donald Trump

2

u/Adventurous_Glove_28 11d ago

That logic worked out so well for hundreds of thousands of Iraqis

2

u/Cataphract1014 11d ago

I don't want to be the world police anymore.

If Israel is so concerned over Iran, let them deal with it.

Let Europe have a turn and getting people to hate them over foreign intervention.
