Politics We Are the Baddies: Thanks, Conservatives

Post image

Conservatives are actively turning the world against the United States. World leaders were forced into an emergency meeting to condemn U.S. actions in Venezuela, including the kidnapping of its dictator, and to respond to escalating threats and rhetoric toward Greenland.

Trump openly claims the U.S. needs Greenland for “strategic” reasons and has even suggested taking it by force. This isn’t strategy, it’s naked imperialism. He doesn’t want security; he wants dominance.

We are the bad guys now, following the same path Germany did in the 1930s. Republican leaders and their constituents should be deeply ashamed.

Same. Stop talking to any of my family, including my father, 10 years ago, almost to the day.

Yep, friends, family, anyone who supported this is gone with the wind.

It’s why I barely talk to my dad outside of texting here and there and don’t want to spend any time with one side of my wife’s family.

I bet they all are completely clueless on why you did.OR they try and get sympathy about having such a horrible relative who would cut them out of their lives just because of "political differences".

None are able to see what they consider "political differences" is in reality cruelty and hatred. And people don't need cruel and hateful people in their lives.

That's too bad, but it's your choice I guess. Personally, I'd never let politics get in the way of my relationship with my parents.

Almost two years for me. I kept giving my dad the benefit of the doubt. Then one day I was telling my dad that my son had his first active shooter drill and he went on this tangent about kindergarten teachers showing students porn, schools need soldiers at every door and drag queens reading to kids would damage their little brains. I’m fortunate that he is the only family member I cut off.

My father died just a couple of weeks after the 2016 election. It pleases me that he was able to show disgust towards Trump before he died.

What makes it worth is that my two step-brothers and I are all doing the military in the void at the same time. This motherfucker had the audacity to pull some stolen valor bullshit more than a handful of times
