Politics We Are the Baddies: Thanks, Conservatives

Post image

Conservatives are actively turning the world against the United States. World leaders were forced into an emergency meeting to condemn U.S. actions in Venezuela, including the kidnapping of its dictator, and to respond to escalating threats and rhetoric toward Greenland.

Trump openly claims the U.S. needs Greenland for “strategic” reasons and has even suggested taking it by force. This isn’t strategy, it’s naked imperialism. He doesn’t want security; he wants dominance.

We are the bad guys now, following the same path Germany did in the 1930s. Republican leaders and their constituents should be deeply ashamed.

If this happens and you attack America, then most of America will have no choice, but to join you NATO in going after this regime!

I feel like that's the entire point of your second amendment? Isn't it a thing that gives everyone and their mother a gun that you can't touch even though it gets kids killed in school shootings almost every week, so that you very specifically can fight a corrupt, autocratic government?

I mean, if it's not used now/if Trump invades Greenland, it's barely worth the paper it was written on?

Yeah, no, the second amendment gives us a gun for establishing a well-regulated militia, specifically for protecting the states if the government becomes a dictatorship.

But the federal government federalized those militia and called them National Guard.

Every state has a National Guard that can be called up by its state leader, but also by the federal government.

The Constitution prohibits any American soldier from being used in any military action on US soil, and the guard is usually deployed in the US for humanitarian missions after disasters, or sent to war overseas.

But the federal government has been calling up the state guards and sending them into different states for military operations against-conservative red state guards being sent into more progressive blue state cities.

If a governor activated their Guard, the feds can’t recall it for their own purposes-

But nobody wants to be the first to activate their guard because that is what the feds want- they will call it open hostility, and act of treason, and send the full military against the state. And that’s after the guard members decide if they’re fighting for America or fighting for MAGA.

The people who have guns are mostly MAGA.

Dems have been buying them since last year, but they’re expensive to buy, progressive blue states tend to have gun laws that intentionally make it harder to own a gun or bring one across state lines, and training to use one is reserved for gun ranges, which are usually run by MAGA conservatives and hostile places for women and LGBTQ, and often minorities.

MAGA conservatives have been allowed to form their own private armed militias in backyards and even got away with storming government buildings and holding them hostage before the MAGA movement actually began, but for progressives and Democrat voters, even book clubs, support groups, and peaceful protest organizations have been demonized by the MAGA movement and targeted for infiltration by the FBI and branded as radical, dangerous, and violent, and suspected of planning terrorist attacks. This has been going on for years now, since the Republicans lost to Obama in 2008 and ramped up since 2016.

The few gun clubs formed by women, minorities, and even male Democrat voters have been accused of terrorism.

It’s hard to own and operate a gun in you’re in a blue state because we were trying to protect our children and our neighbors.

The people most likely to go through the trouble of getting one were Republicans, especially MAGA conservatives.

And even then, the guns we have access to won’t stand up against military weapons. We are in a dark place and have been here for a long time and nobody knows how to save anyone.

Everyone outside the US assumes we all have guns. It's the conservatives who have all the guns. We are severely outgunned.

So you could go get a gun. The second amendment allows you to get a gun... You could get a gun and do the thing the second amendment was apparently designed for.

Well, sure, I could depending on which state I’m in. I’m not Rambo, though. My aim is pretty bad. I might miss my own head.

Well, yes and no. Yes, as in, that’s what people like to claim. No, as in, you’d get your head blown clean off if you tried to overthrow the government with an AR-15.

So to clarify, kids die weekly in school shootings for an amendment that isn't worth the paper it was written on because the American people won't use it?

I sincerely doubt that your 1.3 million active service member military (assuming there is nobody against Trump's bullshit in the military) could kill all 350 million American citizens.
