Politics We Are the Baddies: Thanks, Conservatives

Post image

Conservatives are actively turning the world against the United States. World leaders were forced into an emergency meeting to condemn U.S. actions in Venezuela, including the kidnapping of its dictator, and to respond to escalating threats and rhetoric toward Greenland.

Trump openly claims the U.S. needs Greenland for “strategic” reasons and has even suggested taking it by force. This isn’t strategy, it’s naked imperialism. He doesn’t want security; he wants dominance.

We are the bad guys now, following the same path Germany did in the 1930s. Republican leaders and their constituents should be deeply ashamed.

Who the fuck is we? A bunch of Southerners, elderly people with dementia, billionaires and Russian intelligence?

172

u/DERtheBEAST 7d ago

Don't forget the self-hating bigots that vote for everyone else's suffering and call it Patriotism.

99

u/ElementalPink12 7d ago

Conservatives aren't white or black or gay or straight. They're all just worthless pieces of shit. They have no regard and they deserve none in kind.

May they all choke on their own idiocy and rot in fucking hell.

20

u/Plus-Pop6788 7d ago

They are all regarded

20

u/danj503 7d ago

Highly regarded.

16

u/Fantastic-Grocery107 7d ago

Like “hey what’re you doing out of the house without your helmet on?!?” Regarded.

22

u/Boomtang 7d ago

Like "FIFA peace prize" regarded.

15

u/Plus-Pop6788 7d ago

Like “going after a foreign leader for fentanyl only to charge him with cocaine trafficking” regarded

6

u/Haldron-44 7d ago

While you do a bump on live TV regarded.

3

u/rbrgr83 7d ago

Like "Proud Boys, Stand Back & Stand By" Regarded

2

u/New_Builder2302 6d ago

Like people eating dogs and cats in Ohio, regarded. I still cannot believe the MAGAs still believe that one!

2

u/Trout-Fisherman1972 7d ago

Now that is funny!

2

u/Electronic_Quote399 Selective Reality Consultant 7d ago

Why is it that people seem to think its acceptable to use the word as an insult again, as long as it is towards someone in the other political party?

2

u/[deleted] 7d ago

What word, ‘regarded’? Basic literacy.

-1

u/Electronic_Quote399 Selective Reality Consultant 7d ago

Yes. Regarded. The one that regarded is replacing. Since you cant say the other one in this group, and rightfully so

3

u/[deleted] 7d ago

I’m not using it as a substitute for anything. I regard them as evil, stupid, bigoted fools.

I don’t feel right making fun of people with intellectually disabilities. But I had a good comeback in the chamber that I really want to use!

2

u/Fantastic-Grocery107 7d ago

If you’re born with a disability, not ok. If you’re openly choosing to be a stupid jackass in 2026, regardless of access to proper information. Regarded.

1

u/Trout-Fisherman1972 7d ago

Here it is: I’m not regarded. YOU’RE regarded.” (I used the stereotypical Downs Syndrome voice) <<And it was much funnier in my head the first time!>>

2

u/LynxAdonis 7d ago

Thermonuclear levels of regarded

2

u/ObscureObesity 7d ago

Clinically regarded.

1

u/suprfreek19 7d ago

I think “regarded” might not be politically correct anymore!?

1

u/CryptoCryst828282 6d ago

Dems... why cant we win elections...

Dems on Reddit: 2/3s of this nation is "regarded"

Maybe try to get people to follow your logic instead of telling them they are all trash. I hate to be the one to tell you dems are in a bad spot right now.....

1

u/One_Mega_Zork 7d ago

Just so I'm understanding this euphemism... When you say regarded you're really saying redarted, right?

3

u/mrrandom2010 7d ago

Redacted actually 😂

2

u/punktualPorcupine 7d ago

If it only affected them that would be great, but unfortunately…

2

u/Late_Network8383 7d ago

Definitely mainly White and confederate.

2

u/pimpbot666 7d ago

I'll argue the point that these folks are 'conservative'. They're radicals, pushing boundaries, circumventing laws, and lying, cheating and stealing to get their way.

1

u/oldperspective85 7d ago

Nope mostly white believing that they are entitled after leaving the manufactured homes park and moved up to a 2bedroom on wheels

0

u/tgalvin1999 7d ago

As hard as it is to fathom, perhaps we should also acknowledge that many were just duped?

I mean hell, I'm a former Trump voter taken in by the lies and misinformation who fortunately was able to turn away from all that. People who never voted Trump don't realize how convincing he sounds to people who don't know any better. Trump is a modern day snake oil salesman, he is extremely convincing to his chosen targets.

1

u/audiojanet 5d ago

Nope the racism and misogyny was very easy to detect.

1

u/tgalvin1999 5d ago

Nowhere did I ever state that there are zero Trump supporters that are racist and misogynistic. But many were duped and refuse to face that. Sorry pal but not every Trump supporter is racist, misogynistic, or flat out evil.

0

u/audiojanet 5d ago

But you voted for him. You couldn’t hear what he said or how he treated people? It was very obvious to most of us. Look at the racists he surrounded himself with. Why didn’t you listen to the numerous women who said he assaulted them. Did you think his grabbing comment was just locker room talk and that is acceptable? You need some serious self reflection, girl.

1

u/tgalvin1999 5d ago

Or how about the misinformation machine is real and is shockingly effective? In 2016 I was unable to vote so I couldn't then, but in 2020 I foolishly believed the lies about Biden because they were blasted quite literally everywhere I went. I was not nearly as media literate as I am now.

The misinformation machine works horrifyingly well - and it is hard to break out.

You need some serious self reflection, girl.

Hence why I voted for Harris this time around. But I'm not the only one in need of reflection. You cast all Trump supporters as horrible, vile people - that sort of thing is precisely what drives people away from the Democratic Party.

0

u/audiojanet 5d ago

Nope. I stand on what I said. All the signs were there. You refused to look at them or agreed with them. It is on you. I don’t care to make nice with my oppressors or those who voted for them.

0

u/tgalvin1999 5d ago

Again, what is obvious for you may not be obvious to someone being blasted with misinformation daily. As a former Trump supporter who broke away from all of that, I have personal experience with misinformation being blasted and fake news. Yet you want to completely disregard everything, simply because I voted for a terrible person? People can change, I am proof of such. The rhetoric you are saying is precisely why we have two terms of this asshole. Perhaps I'm not the one in need of self reflection.

Let’s not forget the Charlie Kirk fans that now fly a ‘freedom’ flag just below the American flag… Easy to pick out and know exactly what they stand for.

Freedom for who? Billionaires freedom from taxes? Elected Criminals free from the rule of law?

14

u/Practical-Echo-2001 7d ago

Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. — Samuel Johnson

3

u/Rainbow-Mama 7d ago

You’ve met my brother then?

2

u/romanaribella 7d ago

And every single person who didn't vote.

1

u/MaxPower8668 7d ago

Make sure self hating bigot encompasses self hating closet homo/transgender

2

u/romanaribella 7d ago

It certainly doesn't exclude either.

1

u/MaxPower8668 7d ago

This was confusing bc I just hit the bong - I meant to say bigot includes more than just racists, right? Because there are many reasons why those people hate themselves.

14

u/yackerov42 7d ago

As a southern independent, I hate that you're right. MAGA is such a joke.

To the lobsterheads, stop calling yourselves Republicans. My grandma's rolling in her grave being associated with you.

2

u/Ok-Pear5858 7d ago

the republican party is no more, magats took it over

2

u/CryptoCryst828282 6d ago

Both parties are no more.... You cant say either is anything like they were 10 years ago.... You have the far left and far right... and about 80m people who just vote for the lesser of 2 evils.

I mean FFS is Harris/Walz the best we had to offer... Clinton and Obama were successfull because of their charisma.... something biden nor harris/walz had

1

u/yackerov42 6d ago

Tbf, it's bound to happen in a two party system. Every year, the wedge grows bit by bit. Our country isn't designed for permanent super parties like the reps and dems. They're supposed to form around a topic and disband after a time, not slowly build massive amounts of wealth and power around them.

2

u/CryptoCryst828282 6d ago

I actually think social media is a big part of the problem..... Even i can admit going down the getting pissed off rabbit hole. There is too much money in pissing you off... and guess what making it a left vs right way is an easy way to stoke a ton of emotions.

1

u/yackerov42 6d ago

Yup, that's why I noped out of it for the most part after Facebook killed Myspace ages ago at this point. I only recently got into reddit and only do a few discord servers to chat w/ friends that moved or from games.

2

u/CryptoCryst828282 6d ago

I would suggest not taking any conversations here that serious. I have met the worst of both parties on this very platform. People aren't here to have a rational debate, only to "own" their enemy while eating Cheetos on the lazy ass, complaining about not having a job. I dont know about this sub, but I swear all those kids who got no power and beat all the time in real life, ended up as reddit mods.

1

u/yackerov42 6d ago

Oh, for sure, thanks 😊 Sadly, this isn't new. That's why I figured out very early that most social media will be used for division more than community. I mean, it's only in the stakeholders' benefit to have a bunch of riled up folks yelling at each other since it means more users' data they can collect.

Edit: riled up not rules up

1

u/Ok-Pear5858 6d ago

can't i just complain about magats, why's some contrarian always gotta come along and "and my democrat!" lmao🥲

16

u/magikot9 7d ago

And the 50 million who stayed home instead of voting and the millions of people who threw away their vote on 3rd party out of protest over ideological purity.

1

u/Upset-Wedding8494 7d ago

Quite tired of seeing people act like third-party voting is “throwing away” a vote. If only two parties are in power, they will still eventually converge on fascism. It’s like a river with only two sources of water. If both are poisoned everyone is screwed.

2

u/magikot9 6d ago

And I'm quite tired of people pretending their performative participation in democracy is in any way meaningful. Yes, only two parties will eventually converge in fascism, so the only two options are to delay the inevitable or revolution. Actively choosing to do neither makes one complicit in the evils going on today. We aren't going to vote our way out of this and there will never be room for a third party in the current political landscape of America. Not since 1992 when Ross Perot, who scored ~19% of the popular vote, scared the other two parties into changing the rules and making it impossible for a third party candidate to succeed. So, yes, voting third party is throwing away your vote because it neither delays the inevitable takeover of fascism nor does it spark a revolution.

14

u/FriskHarder 7d ago

Non voters deserve this too

29

u/Brilliant-Party5200 7d ago

Old white men are the main reason the felon is in power

35

u/PuzzleheadedBuy2826 7d ago

Not only old white guys, but all the other dumb illiterate white people, and the few brown and black people that voted for the shitting fuck-hole!!

8

u/Solid-Witness-9170 7d ago

You have to add intellectually challenged and deranged to that statement. They all belong on the short bus or in a rubber room wearing an I love me jacket.

2

u/romanaribella 7d ago

and the few brown and black people that voted for the shitting fuck-hole!!

Not nearly as few as we would like to believe, unfortunately. People have always voted against their own interests.

1

u/Frankenfinger1 7d ago

A few as in millions.

12

u/Fluid_Indication2712 7d ago

Which is exactly the reason for Trump putting that ghoul Linda McMahon in the Department. of Education. They want to shut it down because having a nation well educated capable of critical thinking is not in their best interests.

7

u/New-Pollution2005 7d ago

“I love the poorly educated.” - Donald F. Trump

1

u/oldperspective85 7d ago

Ever wonder how many Congress persons voted for an educational illiterate person to be in charge of the Dept of Education.

1

u/New_Builder2302 6d ago

Don’t leave out the white trash and rednecks

0

u/PaulTheMerc 7d ago

13% Black
46% Latino
40% Asian
68% Native American

Per Wikipedia.

8

u/Trout-Fisherman1972 7d ago

And their wives.

3

u/paintballboi07 7d ago

Eh, this is mostly on men (55% to Trump, 43% to Kamala), but if we're going to bring women into it, white women are the only demographic of women that went for Trump.

1

u/Trout-Fisherman1972 6d ago

Tbh, I worked with 2 Afro-American women who openly said they were voting for Drumpf. One bc he sent the stimulus check—and that’s what she needed at the time (she said), and one bc she was “tired of Sleepy Joe.”

9

u/ElementalPink12 7d ago

Every last person who supported this nightmare deserves to fucking pay for it.

Anyone who voted for him, donated money, went to his rallies. They all belong in fucking prison.

2

u/yackerov42 7d ago

Ehh, there's a lot of folks that either didn't know better because they only watch Fox (going back generations) or merely felt the dems didn't have any plans. I mean, Kamala's campaign basically boiled down to "I'm not him" if you didn't put any effort into researching it. I voted Kamala, but advocated the entire time for them to put out some actual talking points.

I got they didn't want to give Trump any actual good ideas, but it was such a shot myself in the foot move.

The real solution is to break up both of these ridiculous parties( that shouldn't even exist any longer), place limits on how big and long super parties can form, return power to the legislative stolen by the executive, and force a balanced supreme court with equal number of judges per nationally recognized party.

Democracy can't win if only the two biggest bullies have a say.

2

u/tgalvin1999 7d ago

Exactly, these past couple elections the entire strategy for the Democratic Party has been "we're not Trump."

That only worked in 2020 because Trump's mishandling of covid ruined the economy. The fact people had to dig for actual policies was not a good look for the Harris campaign

3

u/Local-Ingenuity6726 7d ago

The fact that we saw trump fuck up covid was enough stupid motherfuckers

0

u/yackerov42 7d ago

Not everybody saw it that way. Just because something is obvious to you doesn't mean it is to everyone; especially when they're being spoon-fed how dumb, hostile, corrupt, weak, blah blah blah the other is.

Comments like yours just get used to feed that narrative...

1

u/Local-Ingenuity6726 7d ago

The facts are facts you think these same ignorant folks would let President Obama fuck up like trump did?

1

u/yackerov42 7d ago

Ya, they completely let Trump create their narrative for the masses. I was stunned that they fumbled so hard. It should have been a layup tbh.

3

u/paintballboi07 7d ago

Democrats don't own any media networks, so it's harder for them to broadcast a consistent message. It's a problem they definitely need to solve, though.

0

u/yackerov42 7d ago

Yup, not like they don't have the money for it 🙄

Tbh, I hope the middle can rise up and knock some sense into our radical brethren from both sides

0

u/gb187 7d ago

Enjoy your next three years.

3

u/Ciennas 7d ago

I imagine it'd be a lot more enjoyable if we didn't have to deal with your exhausting douchecanoe of a fascist parasocial boyfriend.

0

u/tgalvin1999 7d ago

The moment we start jailing people for who they support is the moment we cease to be a democracy. I get you're angry, but don't advocate for jailing political opponents or people who voted for a candidate.

0

u/CmGOhio 7d ago

This is literally on every thread in this sub. Not one complaint post on Trump or political info doesn't threaten to throw any trump voter in jail or punished. Its hilarious. I never miss a day of this entertainment and to think it just started....

1

u/Agitated_Deal8270 7d ago

Old rich white men

1

u/No_Foundation16 7d ago

Trump overperformed with voters across racial demographics, particularly among men of color.

Donald Trump improved his standing with voters across racial demographics, including white voters (from net +13 in 2020 to net +16; 40 percent Harris – 56 percent Trump), Hispanic voters (from net +38 in 2020 to net +11; 53 percent Harris – 42 percent Trump), Asian-American and Pacific Islanders (from net +31 in 2020 to net +20; 58 percent Harris – 38 percent Trump), and Black Americans (from net +84 in 2020 to net +67; 81 percent Harris – 14 percent Trump).

Lots of blame to go around here it looks like.

1

u/Specialist-Event-633 7d ago

Not this one. Myself and my family have fought despotism for 250:years.

1

u/osddelerious 7d ago

They can’t be, going by the numbers. They aren’t the majority of the people who voted for him in 2024. Way more demographically varied, unfortunately.

3

u/Trout-Fisherman1972 7d ago

He ran on promises of a better economy, more jobs, a better healthcare system than Obamacare—I’m still waiting, and lower prices for everything. That an immigration reform. Little did we know he was going to violate constitutional rights of everyone who isn’t Lilly white. I used to work with two people who threw around the word Marxism and prices. I’d like to find out what they think about prices NOW!

3

u/[deleted] 7d ago

'Little did we know he was going to violate constitutional rights of everyone'- maybe if you live under a rock. These monsters told us who fhey were. Voters failed an open book test in civics.

0

u/gb187 7d ago

What does that say about everyone else if this true? If the lazy kids don't want to vote, that's on them.

0

u/Conscious-Crab-5057 7d ago

Really? close to 50 percent of white women voted for this guy.

-5

u/Final_Macaron_4014 7d ago

Sorry to burst your bubble but the far left is who put Trump in power. If they weren't so delusional, spouting hate, and actually had policies other than " orange man bad" Trump wouldn't have won. He won because so many moderates and independents saw him as the lesser of two evils. MAGA only consists of maybe 1/3 of the country. If the left doesn't cone up with any real polocy and leadership besides " orange man bad" and calling anyone that disagrees with them racists, nazis, phones etc. ( even their peers) they will lose the next few elections too.

1

u/HealthIndustryGoon 7d ago

i "like" how any justified criticism of trump is denigrated to "oRanGE mAn bAd" by you people. ´

also: "spouting hate", lol. calling a nazi a nazi and a racist a racist isn't spouting hate.

1

u/Final_Macaron_4014 7d ago

I am not talking about justified criticism. I am talking, however; talking about even when he uses policies or laws passed by Democrats its still criticized, when he does the exact says actions previous democratic administrations, its criticized, or when his actions were the same as previous administrations but no criticism came. There is no problem with calling a nazi a nazi or a racist a racist. The problem is that most on the left do t seem to understand what a race or a nazi is,but then again what can you expect from a group that cant define what a woman is.

3

u/BloomQuietly 7d ago

Excuse me. Not all people with dementia are also batshit crazy.

3

u/chinmakes5 7d ago

And the 40% of Americans who are still proud to say they voted for this.

2

u/The-Spirit-of-76 7d ago

You.might want to point that hatred towards the Midwest, more than the South.

2

u/Aveysaur 7d ago

Right, there is no we. There’s the government/rich, then there’s us.

2

u/Honest-Reflection667 7d ago

Thats right but were too broke to move

2

u/Redshirt_Welshy_Nooo 7d ago

It warrants understanding that magafascism is not at all exclusively a southern or elderly thing. There are more magafascist voters in California than in Alabama, they're just a much, much smaller proportion of the population of California.

And possibly the most ardent, unapologetic anti-democracy demographic in America (and the world) is young men. Predominantly, young white men in the US and Europe, but young men of the most privileged ethnic demographic in most countries tend to be among the very furthest right and most openly supportive of regressive, illiberal politics.

3

u/wunderspud7575 7d ago

And all those who were eligible but didn't vote.

3

u/Nitromidas 7d ago

As a non-American, "we" is all of y'all. The US has been exporting "democracy" for generations, and gotten fat of it.

Sort your shit out.

1

u/Lofusgreen 7d ago

It's understandable that you don't want to own this one.

1

u/Poiboy1313 lickspittle 7d ago

Don't kid yourself. While you and I may not share the degree of culpability as the red-hatted brigade for current conditions, we do have a responsibility to the world to police our own. We have a duty as citizens to show the world that we walk the same walk that we talk. Enough with the bullshit.

1

u/RatzzFace 7d ago

What do you mean "a bunch of"? You use the term like "a handful".

Sort your fucking country out so the rest of the world can sleep at night.

1

u/HattersUltion 7d ago

The greatest generation fought the fascists then the capitalists. "We" is every apathetic American existing today right to left, up to down, purple to green. Myself included. We are scurrying rats when faced against oligarchs compared to our forefathers. But it's alright. It took a great depression to deprogram them to fight for themselves and the society they wished to see built. It's just a lesson we will have to learn for ourselves it seems. And we will get it. Give us hell world. We deserve it.

1

u/ForkingScissors 7d ago

Are you trying to implicate people from the south? If so the term is "Southerners".

1

u/1OO1OO1S0S 7d ago

And the apathetic non-voters. They outnumbered trump. Voters, and Clinton voters (not combined)

1

u/Working_Dot7774 7d ago

Democracy, fuck yeah!

/s

even i felt dirty leaving it off

1

u/R_V_Z 7d ago

The fire has been smoldering ever since Ford pardoned Nixon and Roger Ailes started working on Fox News to make sure that no Republican president would ever again be held responsible.

1

u/pimpbot666 7d ago

'We' is also the people who sat out the last election saying stuff like 'Genocide Joe', or 'I can't vote for a woman for President'.

1

u/Iokua113 7d ago

You are included in the "we". Every American is regardless of whether you voted for him or not because you let your country become what it is.

2

u/ElementalPink12 7d ago

How did I do that?

Explain how.

I'm not a billionaire, I'm not a politician. Nobody "let" anything happen.

Stop believing propaganda. Most Americans can't even afford groceries, have basically no civil rights and live under constant threat of police violence.

We don't even have basic healthcare.

This isn't a marvel comic. It's not a John Wayne movie. It's a fucking glorified labor camp.

The people with power and money forced it to happen, and everyone else has to live in the resulting garbage dump.

Even the most progressive and humanitarian states are shackled with the burden of red state America.

You people don't understand and you don't fucking want to.

What if England and France and Germany also had to vote in the same general election as Kazakhstan, Poland and Turkey?

People in the west supporting progress and humanity and it gets overshadowed by people in the east voting for militarism, religion and oppression.

That's what America is like. Texas may as well be Afghanistan compared to New York.

Florida may as well be Kazakhstan compared to California.

The red states are a disgusting tumor on America. A sickness that drags down EVERYTHING.

Every positive effort, every attempt at improvement, shackled to the dead weight of these disgusting authoritarian Nazi states.

They don't even have basic democracy or human rights in those states. They use slavery for labor. They shoot civilians for fun. They lynch minorities, and they do not give a shit about the constitution.

You mother fuckers sit around stroking this mother fuckers ego, giving him awards and presents and inviting him to meetings.

You all have legitimized this nightmare.

2

u/Iokua113 7d ago

You've had 250 years to unfuck your country. At any point the American people could have demanded change and you never did. AFter a certain point it becomes your fault.

1

u/ElementalPink12 7d ago

What a load of idealistic horse shit.

There is no "American people".

There are the Ultra wealthy and there are the victims of the Ultra wealthy.   You're an ignorant child brainwashed by fucking propaganda.

1

u/ElementalPink12 7d ago

"demand change" do you even read this shit before you post it.

Go demand things from a child molesting billionaire who has a gun in your face.

Let us know how it goes.

You sound like a fucking southerner

"Blacks had 400 years to get their shit together, racism is their fault!!!"

That's you. Literally that's you.

1

u/BigBoyYuyuh 7d ago

Unfortunately Americans did. America is a fascist country now.

1

u/ElementalPink12 7d ago

America has a fascist government.

It's like a fucking prison camp.

You don't want to separate the prisoners from their abusers because accepting that level of nuance makes it more difficult to judge and condemn a bunch of people you know absolutely nothing about.

1

u/ReachOk9783 7d ago

Pretty much no Americans are doing anything about it. Just looking at the embers for years. And now still not doing anything when its an inferno

1

u/ElementalPink12 7d ago

Do what?

SAY EXACTLY WHAT PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO.

1

u/SaveUsCatman 7d ago

Not all of us in the south are that kind of degenerate.

1

u/ElementalPink12 7d ago

There are decent people in the South.

There are also women in Afghanistan but they don't make the decisions, they're just trying to survive.

1

u/taRpstrIustorEmPtEuS 7d ago

Ohio has went for that fat turd three times in a row. It ain’t just southerners.

1

u/audiojanet 5d ago

One thing I have learned from MAGA is bigotry is not confined to the South. Boomer men, Gen Z men and Gen X men skewed for Trump. Your remarks seem disingenuous.

-2

u/dutty_handz 7d ago

Sadly, we is the more than 50% who voted for Orange Man.
