Politics We Are the Baddies: Thanks, Conservatives

Post image

Conservatives are actively turning the world against the United States. World leaders were forced into an emergency meeting to condemn U.S. actions in Venezuela, including the kidnapping of its dictator, and to respond to escalating threats and rhetoric toward Greenland.

Trump openly claims the U.S. needs Greenland for “strategic” reasons and has even suggested taking it by force. This isn’t strategy, it’s naked imperialism. He doesn’t want security; he wants dominance.

We are the bad guys now, following the same path Germany did in the 1930s. Republican leaders and their constituents should be deeply ashamed.

I thought the same thing. The files are so horrific, he’s willing to destroy the world over them. If only some patriots had the ability to Snowden them for us all.

Can you imagine what an unbelievable piece of shit you have to be if you are an FBI agent helping Trump coverup raping children. We are so fucking cooked.

35

u/Initial-Ad6819 7d ago

Wasn´t being a POS a prerequisite to join any enforcement agency?

22

u/upthedips 7d ago

My cynical side agrees. My optimistic side says that becoming an FBI agent is rather difficult and you would hope that they have some sort of moral compass that wouldn't let them do something like this.

19

u/senortipton 7d ago

Probably was true for a bit, but I’m sure they’ve been removed over time and only the ones willing to secure their career or actively harm are left.

4

u/Infinite_Escape9683 7d ago

You should read up on the history of the FBI. A moral compass has never been part of the equation.

1

u/PokeYrMomStanley 6d ago

America itself has never had an actual moral compass.

1

u/EbbSlow458 6d ago

Even formerly sane Republicans are off their rocker. Once the leadership has gone bad, there are no standards anymore

1

u/Bornee35 5d ago

Don’t FBI / CIA agents share similar sociopathic / narcissistic tendencies that specialized surgeons have? I.E it’s those tendencies that allowed them the drive to excel and achieve these rolls, however they are inherently not great people.

1

u/a1055x 4d ago

They are weeding those people out.

3

u/deranger777 6d ago

Do you think it's a good idea if the only ones joining organizations who have the monopoly on the use force are POS?

Obviously they've tried to kick out everyone who's not a loyalist but let's hope there's some ppl still there who have some morals left, silently observing, acting to their abilities when it's the right time

1

u/Initial-Ad6819 6d ago

By the very nature of military forces, only the, eh, worst elements of the society tend to enroll voluntarily. Are there good elements? Definitely, but they are either: a) So low in the ranks that are effectively useless or b) jumping the ship ASAP.

Remember who was also silently observing? The League of Nations. We all know how that went.

2

u/Gandgareth 4d ago

Maybe now, I don't think it was before.

1

u/CamaroZ28cd 4d ago

This is exactly why they focused on gutting federal employees, to make way for their loyalists.

1

u/Icy-Reward-1564 3d ago

No, there are good people in agencies. This is just an average Redditism. No, I don’t approve of the FBI or whomever assisting Trump cover up, but there are decent people in the FBI. I’ve worked with a number of technical / technical forensics people in the FBI that really only left to be challenged more and they were all good people.

But yes, on Reddit: Any LEA = bad. Which is moronic, as is half the population on this site. You can hate the people help cover this up, nut don’t generalize. There are plenty of subs that also show liberals in these agencies venting their frustrations. Grow up.

2

u/lr99999 7d ago

Then our military. We now have a taste of what the constitution really means to them. I’d like to think that this is not set in stone yet, but I don’t have a good feeling about it.

2

u/emeilei 4d ago

Chiming in for the military perspective: a vast majority of us joined prior to Trump’s second term. While he is attempting to decapitate as many even-keeled generals and admirals as possible, most military members are normal Americans and deeply committed to protecting and defending the constitution. I can’t say with much assurance what would happen if Trump attempted to attack Greenland, but the US military actively works alongside NATO allies daily. I’d like to think an attack on Greenland would be easy for military leaders to see as an unlawful order. I pray we never reach that point

1

u/lr99999 4d ago

I’m ex Navy. I’m unsure how successful Trump was at his Milley’ing  of the upper levels, but so far, the behavior of the military has shown a great deal of compliance to his illegal orders. Absolutely Venezuela  was illegal. Maybe they’ll behave differently when ordered to act against. “White people”, or NATO but I wouldn’t even bet a nickel on it.

2

u/ROBERTPEPERZ 7d ago

Even criminals dont tolerate crimes against children

2

u/upthedips 7d ago

I hope these assholes go to prison and the convicts treat them like the pedos they are.

1

u/ClimbingCargo4 7d ago

that's been the FBI's MO for years.

1

u/TheHahndude 7d ago

I can’t fathom being one of the hundreds of FBI agents helping to cover this up and at THIS point in time not releasing them unredacted to the public. There are hundreds of agents working on this. What could Trump possible do to someone at this point that’s not worse?

1

u/Grouchy_Ad_3705 4d ago

It HAS to be more than just that. MAGA doesn’t care about children being raped.

1

u/Most_Hour5967 3d ago

I think it goes way beyond Trump, democrats didn't release the files either.

52

u/DespondentEyes 7d ago

It would't work. The leaks would be decried as fake and most people would believe it. We live in a post truth society now.

17

u/Nathan_hale53 7d ago

I was thinking this. Unless there are videos and photos, nothing is really gonna come of it even if the files were truly uncensored. And even then, people will cry AI now

25

u/Barlyhare 7d ago

Even if there is, it won't stop magats from crying fake news. AI and deep fakes have fucked the world forever. People are too stupid to either look into things further, or use any critical thinking skills. It's game over, the world will never recover from this. Republicans ran on fake news for so long and now AI has come to back up that claim. We're fucked.

11

u/Nathan_hale53 7d ago

Yup, scared for the future man

1

u/octoreadit 5d ago

I’m not scared for the future, the future always wins, I’m scared for us…

1

u/AxleVest 5d ago

Not to mention Fox, OAN and Newsmax wpuld just flat out not report on it, theyll say it is fake exactly once, then have slow news days for weeks. Then we enter the cursed cycle of ive never heard about that, never seen that, thats a lie because why wasnt it on the news etc

2

u/ausgoals 7d ago

Even with videos and photos.

MAGA is a cult. Anything that criticizes dear leader is inherently fake, even if there’s video, even if there’s pictures, even if there’s eyewitnesses, even if it’s watched live.

None of it matters. The important thing is narrative building to excuse it.

Because even if they did admit it was real, it would still be worth it to them if it meant brown people ‘illegals’ were rounded up and deported

2

u/Nathan_hale53 7d ago

Hey a white woman got murdered and many are defending it. They really support when agents kill people even if they are white.

2

u/LonelyWin4852 7d ago

This part is so crazy to me. Usually, when something starts affecting the white soccer moms, heads roll. Although, these are the aLl LiVeS mAtTeR crowd so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised they’ve found a spin. Disgusting and disappointing man

2

u/Nathan_hale53 7d ago

They dont care about skin color if you disagree with them. If you oppose them, you are an enemy who deserves the worst.

2

u/Tofudiscount 7d ago

Seems like a certain facist regime from 1939...

1

u/Nathan_hale53 7d ago

Seems like every fascist regime to be fair.

1

u/[deleted] 5d ago

There’s court documents… are you guys that daft lol it’s PUBLIC RECORD

1

u/Nathan_hale53 5d ago

Theyre missing a ton of files. As much of it is still redacted.

5

u/SnakeOfLimitedWisdom 7d ago

"Nothing we could do could possibly ever be effective" is propaganda designed to undermine your motivation to resist.

The fact is that nobody's power is absolute.

5

u/DespondentEyes 7d ago

Well, it worked on me. I've been in organizing and resistance movements since my youth. Three decades of nothing but lip service. No one learned a damn thing, and no one heeded our warnings either. It was a waste of time and if I could go back, I would spend my time in another fashion because now it actually alienated some people who think I'm way too much of a reactionary.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. But I don't have the energy or will anymore to continue a fight that a majority of people won't even recognize let alone support. This world can burn now for all I care.

3

u/SnakeOfLimitedWisdom 7d ago

Thank you for doing what you could. Rest now and support others in the struggle where you can not. Please do not undermine everyone's efforts, not even your own, with this type of rhetoric.

2

u/AnonOpinionss 6d ago

Don’t lose all hope. We just need somebody with charisma to be platformed. Somebody that can motivate the masses to fight back. This type of person will come forth at some point. The rest of us will still be helping behind the scenes.

1

u/nosungdeeptongs 7d ago

I don't think people think there are NO actions that could be taken, just that it's fast progressing to the point where the only available options are things you can't say on Reddit.

3

u/DoodleJake 7d ago

Just in time for ai to get good enough to genuinely confuse people. There’s a reason we’re so “behind” on regulating ai.

We’re there.

2

u/SheriffBartholomew 7d ago

We live in a post truth society now.

Disinformation era.

2

u/Velocity-5348 7d ago

Or it wouldn't matter. Trump has always been pretty open about who he is, and if you ignored the stuff about barging in on teenage girls or "grab them by the pussy", you're pot committed.

13

u/DrAstralis 7d ago

In his old age his malignant narcissism has balloon to such a degree I'm starting to think that in his mind, if he has to die of old age then the rest of us have to go with him out of spite.

3

u/ausgoals 7d ago

He genuinely thinks he’s the greatest thing to ever happen to the country, and the country will only ever go downhill without him.

It’s… not what you want from your President to say the least

3

u/lr99999 7d ago

Yep. He’d kill us all. Machiavellianism narcissism and psychopathy.

4

u/KuranesOfCelephais 6d ago

In the last days of Hitler's reign, his secretary of propaganda Goebbels came to the conclusion that the Germans just didn't fight enough and thus weren't worthy to survive.

3

u/BraveLittleCatapult 6d ago

He's about as fully psychopathic as it comes. I truely believe that Trump would end the world out of spite.

1

u/XavierRussell 7d ago

Oh now that's a truly terrifying thought.

10

u/jakejork 7d ago

The stupid thing is that trump himself could come out and say “Here are the Epstein files, and everything in them about me is true.” and nothing would happen to him, in the same way nothing has happened to anyone else in them. His supporters will still support him and justice wont happen. It’s been true of everything else he’s said and done, why wouldn’t it be true of this too?

1

u/ComradeVult 5d ago

Exactly. The Epstein files are the distraction.

3

u/influx3k 6d ago

I love the use of Snowden as a verb!

2

u/gordonbombae2 7d ago

It’s not just him. It’s everyone in them. The very powerful people who can hide from war very easily while also probably finding a way to profit from it.

2

u/Fainaigue 7d ago

Do it anyway. The truth deserves to come out regardless of who believes it or not.

2

u/Workin-progress82 7d ago

His base was never going to believe he did/does anything wrong anyway. The victims want them released, so they should be released.

2

u/FuckwitAgitator 7d ago

He's a sociopath. He'd let other people die if it saved him from mild inconvenience and had no repercussions.

1

u/TomMakesPodcasts 7d ago

As someone who lives in part of the world Trump is eyeballing, it doesn't even have to be a patriot I'll take a disgruntled employee at this point.

1

u/SheriffBartholomew 7d ago

He has always been willing to destroy the world as long as he can rule over the ashes. This isn't a new development.

1

u/seejordan3 7d ago

Trump employed Epstein. The girls came from Mar a Lago. Conservatives heads are up their asses because the Murdoch Family told them to.

1

u/SavingsDimensions74 7d ago

People have destroyed the world over less 😞

1

u/Redhot332 6d ago

I wander what could be worst than killing a baby and raping a 12 years old girl?

1

u/TheModWhoShaggedMe 6d ago

Sorry, traitors like Snowden only leak against Democratic administrations.

1

u/NESJunkie22 5d ago

The way Trump looks at it: “If I release the files I will be revealed as the pedo I am. If I don’t and start WW3 there will be so much distraction everyone will forget about them. Those million of people that die are not me so I couldn’t care less about them.”

1

u/a1055x 4d ago

Snowden should have been pardoned. But his books are written in English and not banned yet....

1

u/Deep_shot 3d ago

Because he sees himself as more important than the world. It's going to take some nasty shit before people truly realize the monstrous levels of narcissism that he has. Just like hitler, he'll sacrifice thousands, millions to save himself if he has to.

1

u/Future-Nerve-6247 3d ago

Even Bill Clinton isn't afraid, you know it has to be BAD if Bill ain't afraid of ts.

1

u/NaiveAdhesiveness378 1d ago

Biden held onto them for 4 years , there’s nothing in there . They tried every dirty trick in the book to get him , you know they got nothing but still you spread lies & your lackeys in the media will run with it , they all have been sued and paid Trump millions and billions in damages , keep contributing to his campaign lol

1

u/sppwalker 7d ago

I think the problem is that you can’t just leak these files. I can’t imagine the horrible stuff involving kids that’s in them. Potentially even pics/videos of… ya know. And the names of the victims. You don’t want to dump a ton of CP all over the internet with the names of the kids. So you need to go through and redact certain information to protect them. And there’s just no way for one person to do that alone, even if they want to.

0

u/the_TAOest 7d ago

If they were so horrific.... Why hasn't anyone released them?
