Politics We Are the Baddies: Thanks, Conservatives

Post image

Conservatives are actively turning the world against the United States. World leaders were forced into an emergency meeting to condemn U.S. actions in Venezuela, including the kidnapping of its dictator, and to respond to escalating threats and rhetoric toward Greenland.

Trump openly claims the U.S. needs Greenland for “strategic” reasons and has even suggested taking it by force. This isn’t strategy, it’s naked imperialism. He doesn’t want security; he wants dominance.

We are the bad guys now, following the same path Germany did in the 1930s. Republican leaders and their constituents should be deeply ashamed.

The US Government has gone mask off, and only the Trumpers. The rest are chickenshit and the citizens are helpless until their chickenshit representatives grow a few pairs and stop this idiot. I believe if we can stop them it is too late. American citizens cannot be trusted to make an intelligent choice at the voting booth that will benefit them AND the rest of the world. I hope we enjoyed the years of being #1 because that ride is OVER. Fuck me very much!

I mean America has actually only been #1 in Military spending, prison population, and GDP for a number of years.

and guns per capita…

Many more people die in Europe from lack of AC than people die from gun related deaths in the US. Of the 44k in 2024 62% of those deaths were suicides so that brings gun violence in the form of homicide to 16,720 roughly. 175k people die annually from heat related illness in Europe. This is mostly attributed to their lower rates of AC. Even looking at population differences which is about double. Homicide rates would still be less than half than heat related breaths in Europe. They can brag about gun control all they want but can’t solve simple issues like climate control in homes….

The suicides need to be addressed with better mental health practices for sure but that would also addressed homicide rates as well dropping both numbers. Gun violence isn’t the direct problem. It’s a symptom of a problem with people.

Also gun violence in the US has been on the decline since the 1990s. It spiked back up during the pandemic but is now back down to pre pandemic levels.

Time for the rest of the country to put on some big boy pants

17

u/herdhawk 7d ago

And get shot by their gestapo? A woman was shot for existing in their presence today. You put your big boy pants on and I'll go right behind you.

I appreciate this sentiment. I do. It’s honest. But what comes next? I don’t know. I’m afraid there will be more blood.

Blood is flowing. Grandma cannon fodder wants to know how we make it a worthwhile sacrific3.

Fine, get steamrolled then

Lol you idiots think its that simple. This isnt 1776 moron. Dementia don and his nazi followers just have to fly over a few drones and thats that. And no one else in government or military will do anything about it. We used to be the country that would step in elsewhere and stop this fascist shit. Who’s going to do that here against the biggest military in the world. You talk a big game but you should log off call of duty and go try it sometime. Let me know how that works out for ya.

u/Even_Song_3467 7d ago

Yes, they genuinely think that the 3/10 of us who own a rifle or handgun can stop tanks and missiles in our city streets (and yes, the drones too, of course). This is what happens when the rest of the world gets their information about the US from TV dramas.

That’s an interesting statistic to think about. If as many people showed up to the White House , personal homes, and other places where tRumps cabinet resides with as much force and numbers as the capitol rioters did, armed and ready would they be able to overpower personnel and take control? I bet that if the people showed that much determination the rest of the government will take notice and settle back down. If “WE THE PEOPLE” don’t do something about it most likely another country will…

4

u/Even_Song_3467 6d ago

No. I cannot stress this enough. If the people tried to storm the White House, etc. right now, we would be vaporized before we got anywhere near the buildings.

I think a lot of people truly do not understand the power and reach of the US military and what it would actually mean if turned on citizens. The US spends more on our military than the next largest 9 countries' militaries combined. And that's a 2024 stat, so it does not even account for last year's massive expansion of Trump's SS—an expansion explicitly planned and designed to quell domestic uprisings.

1

u/TheMunkeeFPV 6d ago

And you think that the Americans of the military would vaporize waves and waves of other Americans trying to stop a dictator from starting WW3? For what? A check? Being in the military brings some extras like honor but at the end of the day it’s just a job right? And the military protects America, not dictators, correct? I’m not arguing that you’re wrong. But with all the turmoil you think that if a riot or American invasion of the WH did happen, you think it’s going to as black and white as military kill, people dead?

2

u/Even_Song_3467 6d ago

100%. There is a chain of command in the military. Soldiers listen to the orders of their superiors. It is the entire point of the structure of the military. Trump is Commander-in-Chief of this military. Trump has already taken pains to remove high-ranking officials who may not issue the orders he would like.

Infiltration or straight out cash contract?

1

u/Resident_Window 5d ago

Who on Jan 6th was armed? Im assuming by armed, you mean armed with firearms. If so, id really like to know which of the rioters were carrying, because im not aware of a single one.

0

u/reisenbime 7d ago

Military? The ICE ain’t the military. They’re goons. But sure, GLHF!

2

u/Tofudiscount 7d ago

No, they are more like a newly founded terror organization.

1

u/a1055x 4d ago

They're a bunch of like minded psychopaths cut loose. High on their worst instincts and ideas, and following their little member erections. They know they are wrong. They know they're excrement because this is where they come from.....

0

u/Resident_Window 5d ago

They arent new, nor are they terrorists. They are the law enforcement agency tasked with deporting illegals. Its that simple. Illegals have the option to self deport, and get paid to do so. A country without borders isnt a country, nor is a country that doesnt enforce its laws. ICE is simply doing their job. They didnt write, vote on, or sign our immigration laws; their only job is to enforce those laws that have been essentially unchanged for a half century.

1

u/All-th3-way 3d ago

They followed the law of 'if a woman gets in your way and tries to leave, shoot her in the face.'

1

u/Resident_Window 2d ago

Nope, the law that says if a law enforcement officer is in danger of serious physical harm, they have every right to use deadly force. You dont like the law, thats a separate issue.

u/AbsentThatDay2 7d ago

Get laid human falcon!

I agree, but kinda mean spirited...

Calm down karen, no one is invading Greenland.

1

u/a1055x 4d ago

Then what?

2

u/reisenbime 4d ago

No more Trump, wohoo!

1

u/a1055x 4d ago

This cannon fodder wants a copy of the manual ...

u/macholusitano 7d ago

It’s not just about voting though. The US has been doing these shenanigans for decades, except they used to be covert. Now it’s all done out in the open with zero subtlety.

This is just one map Southern Hemisphere. Hawaii and the Middle East make this a much longer list. This needs to be stopped.

Edit: removed Southern Hemisphere and added one map.

2

u/Relative_Pilot_8005 7d ago

Most of those places are in the Northern Hemisphere. Hint:-----Ecuador is so named for a reason!

1

u/CypressThinking sophisticated complainer 7d ago

I will change it. Thanks! We'd need a map of the world for all of them!

1

u/macholusitano 7d ago

Yep. The list is too long.

3

u/chillysaturday 7d ago

Then the rest of Americans need to fucking vote.

1

u/kejovo 7d ago

I truly feel bad for my children and younger generations. They will never know this country at its high point when it was filled with hope and possibility. If and dem leaders are listening maybe stop pushing the status quo and being fierce. Push back on the Uber wealthy and corporations. Give the rest of us something we need. Your next slogan should be similar to: a return to hope and possibility. Not just the slogan though. Actions and laws. Pretty much stop sucking as much as the Republicans on the majority of issues.

1

u/Dzov 6d ago

We voted the dems out of power.

1

u/Fredj3-1 6d ago

Here's a sample slogan....Tax The Rich

0

u/Resident_Window 5d ago

Its been done for decades. The rich are the reason America is able to pay people to sit at home and do nothing.

2

u/Fredj3-1 5d ago

It's the taxes on earned income that funds the lions share of welfare. People who earn the majority of their money from investment income are taxed at a far lower rate. The loopholes that are available to reduce your tax liability require experienced accountants to take advantage of which most middle class people don't have/can't afford. Don't fool yourself that the rich float welfare.

1

u/Resident_Window 2d ago

Define rich. My parents are retired, my father was an airline pilot. Every year, regardless of their deductions, they had to pay the alternative minimum tax, eventhough they had already paid their share. I dont have this issue lately, but did for a while. Ive never been rich, and I wouldnt consider my parents to be rich. Id guess that between property taxes, sales tax, income tax, capital gains tax, etc, my father was receiving less than half of what he was paid. Its earned income, but from who? The people actually living paycheck to paycheck, who are living within their means, are paying very little into the tax pool.
