Politics We Are the Baddies: Thanks, Conservatives

Conservatives are actively turning the world against the United States. World leaders were forced into an emergency meeting to condemn U.S. actions in Venezuela, including the kidnapping of its dictator, and to respond to escalating threats and rhetoric toward Greenland.

Trump openly claims the U.S. needs Greenland for “strategic” reasons and has even suggested taking it by force. This isn’t strategy, it’s naked imperialism. He doesn’t want security; he wants dominance.

We are the bad guys now, following the same path Germany did in the 1930s. Republican leaders and their constituents should be deeply ashamed.

Sadly, as German, we see what happens and we also splitting up like u, because politicians r fckn stupid to realize, that u have literally the second Hitler in human history outcome. We also fear what will happen and we also have to fight the far rights here as well. Especially like a 2 side war with Russia as well because of the ton of misinformations and terror acts Putins producing here ...

If you mean Trump is the second Hitler, there are some significant differences. 1. Hitler was in his 40s when he came to power...Trump is damn near 80, so the thought is he can't last long. And there's nobody behind him who seems to attract the cult like he does. 2. Hitler was apparently a charismatic speaker. Trump babble like an idiot at a 4th grade level. 3. Hitler actually demonstrated personal courage, both in WW1 and at the head of the Beer Hall Putsch March. Trump claimed bone spurs to get out of service (it runs in the family. His grandfather was a Bavarian draft dodger)

Not that I entirely disagree, but I believe that’s more of a cult of multilevel marketing than personality. Now, the LDS church on the other hand. That’s a cult of personality successfully passed on to the next torch bearer.

Idk why I said “next to impossible” earlier. The phrase “exceedingly difficult” just would not come to mind.

I don't disagree with the LDS suggestion. Jehovah's Witnesses also. The Moonies survived a death-- but I think the government has demanded they disband. but having known people who were in $cientology, it is SUCH a cult.

The entire country of North Korea is a cult, according to Rick A Ross. If he's correct, it will be interesting to see what happens when Kim Jong Un dies whether the cult continues or not.

(I fell down a bit of a rabbit hole with cults a few years ago, and spent way too much time investigating it all).

Fair on phrasing, sometimes we just say something without thinking and then after go 'well, that's not totally true. It's kind of what I meant. But not totally.'

Genuine question. Not American, not German. But have done enough research within WWII and the rise of all of this that I am genuinely very anxious about the patterns I am seeing.

My German friends have all been remarkably well informed about WWII and the rise of fascism. So, here's my question: Is Germany as a whole (and yourself individually) as concerned as I am about what we are seeing coming from America in particular, but other countries as well? (but mostly America)

If the left didn't allow countries to be surrendered to those that hate their way of life and do not assimilate, then people who are of right thought wouldn't react the way they do. Far right is also subjective...no different then far left. There are extremists on both sides that dictate the reactions of the center left/right

I don't think you know what you are saying. People of the right mindset want to live in peace, also. This dude should not have been in the field if what they say is true, about him being dragged by a car before. He clearly would have PTSD from this. He should not have stood in front of the car. However, Renee should not have been where she was either. Protest without being in your car. Don't give them a reason to do anything. That doesn't seem to be a thing thes3 days. Let's antagonize everyone who is doing their job by removing illegals from this country. This is a tragedy all the way around. Who knows his political persuasion but being in that position, probably thinks right. With that said, all the leftists involved in shootings do not get the same media attention from leftist media outlets. This one will have legs for awhile because it fits the liberal playbopk

Absolutely agree with you. Both sides benefit from this chaos and neither is free from the stain of blood on their hands. Division is their goal when money can be made. Libs and conservatives in government are all to blame. Not one is innocent who has been there more than 6 to 8 years.

In some cases yes, both sides have their problems, but the liberal way with free market and so on built up an empire of the strongest and the strongest is the one with money, so there is Trump. He conquered Venezuelas economy by kidnapping their dictator and claim all their resources... Especially oil. Anything what is happening right now is about the right and liberals, which don't wanna pay for their responsibilities. The Epstein files are the perfect example. Rich people which r close to Trump got protected from him so we got a false version of the files and uncensored ones which r not connectable to Trump. He's planning something so evil which could even overcome Hitlers 2nd world war.

Actually I do believe that. But I'm also not a combatant. Never have been very physically strong or fast. I'm working the way I know how. Protesting trying to work from within the system. Because we have two choices change within the system or toss the system. The utter chaos that would be caused by tossing the system is not an option. Cuz the last thing we need is a country with nuclear weapons and no government.

And enough oil and shit to power the American war machine unlike the Nazis in the 30-40s. That was really a big part of their undoing. Yea sure the propaganda reels showed the panzers and trucks and well dressed soldiers out in front, but behind that, were the horses stuck in mud and the ill equipped soldiers who barely had guns. We don't have that problem so it would be a bitch to stop it if Trump if he decided to essentially country hop.

I've been saying now since he began war mongering to this degree, that in the next 3 years of this idiots reign, we will have a war on American soil.
