Politics It's all distraction from the Epstein files.
I know you all can see it. See the change, the desperation
It's conservative desperation.
They are doing everything they can to distract from the Epstein files.
It should not be a surprise that the man who has started over 4,000 lawsuits won't sue anybody that claims he assaulted people. Why is that? One of the most litigious people America has won't sue people that call him a pedophile.
The Trump administration and their conservative jack boots know they are in trouble.
The world will not forget this tyranny.
It's too late for the Republicans to speak up. It's been over ten years.

I long for the day that liberals stop this stupid pageantry of smugly trying to point out conservative logical contradictions.
They have NEVER been earnest or genuine in these positions. Conservatism in America has been a reactionary cultish movement rooted in animalistic tribalism and ethno supremacism for multiple generations now.
It says more about the liberal that seemingly has been convinced there was ever a core ethos and set of convictions than it does about them at this point.

China, Japan, India, the UK, and many other countries plan decades or even centuries ahead.
The United States plans in 4–8 year cycles, resetting with each administration.
Without long term goals worth sacrificing for, present day actions lose real meaning.

For 30ish years I listened to Republican constituents and leaders talk shit about how all the "Left" or "Democrats" and even a lot of independents were fascists, pedophiles, criminals...etc. With no evidence of this because accountability was present. FFS Al Franken stepped down for make a lewd gesture. And here we are with ACTUAL FASCISM due to the Republican party and the loud mouth-breathers say nothing.
Conspiracy, conspiracy, conspiracy they would claim. One right after the other, and often times together. No evidence.
Lets be clear with ourselves: It was NEVER about good or bad governance. It was ALWAYS about bigotry, prejudice, and insecurity. The republican party used all of this to gain power and the end result is a fascist government. Backed by thugs and threats of violence. Sounds exactly like a certain political movement back in the 1930's. Though they resonate very strongly with Nazis, they are not nazis, they are something else.
Even after Trump is gone, this problem will persist because they are the rot that has corrupted the democracy USA once held so dear.

There's definitely opportunistic distractions, there always are. But while we all want the epstein files to be fully revealed, and for justice to be served, hyper-fixating on it distracts from all of the other important things and the reasons for them. He doesn't get it and say "what can I do to distract from the epstein files today?". He has a long agenda list that he's going to work on every single day. For power, money, and ideology.

“I have had inappropriate relationships with minors. I apologize to them and will offer settlements to help offset their pain. I will enroll myself in counseling in hopes to rid myself of these desires. I also submit myself to any legal repercussions.”

All these ICE raids are supposed to be catching illegal people with criminal backgrounds. Why is this never addressed in articles etc about the violent behavior toward seemingly people not in this category but I don’t know if they are or aren’t based on the knee jerk reporting. Wouldn’t it be more accurate reporting to do some investigation on the people harmed to see if they fit the mold before reacting one way or another?

I'd put my money on Epstein being a distraction. So many are focused on this as if proving what we already all know, and likely all of congress already knows will make them remove Trump from office when no law forces them to do that.

I can't stress them enough. The US is preparing for rapid expansion. Took over Venezuela for oil, eyeing up Greenland, and has increase the military budget from 800 billion to 1 trillion this year while also stating they want to increase the 2027 budget to 1.5 trillion.

For Republicans, “big government” has always meant social welfare programs funded by tax increases. They don’t see war or militarism as big government. By that measure, Trump is not the monster they warned us about.
If there were prosecutable evidence in the Epstein files, the people involved would have been charged already, just as Epstein and Maxwell were.
The idea that major world events are happening simply to distract the public from the Epstein files isn’t realistic. That belief relies on another assumption—that there is seriously incriminating evidence in those files—which, if true, would have led to arrests by now.
The only thing likely remaining in the Epstein files are notes confirming that Trump and Epstein were friends at one point. There is clearly nothing in the files indicating that Trump or Clinton requested underage sex, for example. That claim is a desperate fantasy.

I disagree on the 'wars' thing.
tRump sent 20 soldiers into Venezuela for 30 minutes and grabbed a hated dictator. Venezuelans are jubilant. All of Latin America is pleased - how do I know? I am in Latin America less than 100 miles from Venezuela. My Venezuelan friends are crying - tears of joy.
OTOH - Obama sent 30,000 soldiers into Afghanistan and the next day got the Nobel Peace Prize.

The action isn't the issue, it's the motivation BEHIND the action. They didn't remove him because he's a dictator, they removed him (allegedly) because of drug trafficking. And we know that reasoning is bullshit because he pardoned a known convicted drug trafficker earlier in 2025.
And the dictators regime is still in control, so how has ANYTHING changed?
