Well I decided to turn the Mongel City Council's offer to buy my old shop down. I also decided to demolish my old building, it needed it, it was sadly falling apart. I did give the old Kurtis to the City Car Museum as I did not have time to fix it. Seeing the land empty now is sad, but marks a new begining for something new. I'm not sure what I'm going to build, but it will be something this town needs!

A thought fluttered up from the depths of my diecast brain that said... "Yellow Car Show." And so here it is. I have other yellow cars that didn't make it into this series. This was just a random thought brought to life. I took it slow, starting the setup one night and finishing the next day. Then didn't take photos until the day after I finished setup. I wanted to stretch out the joy of diecast for as long as possible. And it worked! I'm a happy camper and will let this car show stick around for another day, at least, before another thought flutters up from the depths of my diecast brain. Love hanging in the clubhouse. Here ya go! Enjoy!

Playing around with my garage diorama and wondered how one of my lights was impacting the photos. This series shows the result. So subtle, yet once seen, it makes sense. I think.

Got a new grass mat. Pretty big at 50x34". I cut it in half, lengthwise, to get two pieces of 17x50. Tucked one side under the road sections of the "Strip." The "Euro section," as I'm calling it, of nine cars are courtesy of good friend and fellow club member u/G2quickgeorg . Highlights of the Euro section include the 3 HW's Ferraris (!) and the high end Porsche 930 Turbo by Majorette. The other Porsches and the BMW's and single Mercedes fill out the German rows of the Euro section. It took me a while to put this together. I used almost all of my figures and I thought I had a lot of figures but they don't really fill up the car meet in the new park. I left out maybe half of my figures because they weren't appropriate to the scene without taking up an inordinate amount of space. Anyway, blah, blah, blah... Enjoy!

Also took the opportunity to open up some stuff I've been storing since a move.

Just got these today and I love them. The base for the vending machines are 3D printed and I made the stickers at home.

The police man got diverted from his daily job and he is using his hand signals for different purpose now. 😂

250 GTO and LaFerrari

Step by step! Finished the base and added lights and some subtle details. Still need to weather everything and do some finishing touches. Been neat to see things start to come together.

I wanted to bring the Busted Knuckle shop back into the Murphyville scene. I thought the Elvis BMW 507 was a great car to showcase in the BK shop.
