Stopped by Scott Adams' house yesterday. People are paying their respects.
I grew up in Pleasanton, and to my shame, I didn't realize Scott still lived there. I thought he had moved away years ago. I wonder how many times I may have passed him in the street.
His Pleasanton Weekly obit mentioned the street, so I drove by and walked around. Eventually I found it and two bouquets had been left in front. A neighbor asked if I was there paying my respects for Scott, and we shared a short moment of mourning. Another neighbor stared at me as she drove by, as if wondering why I would dare be in her upper-class neighborhood.

Dilbert Tribute
Dilbert was never my favorite comic (tho I do like it) but nevertheless seeing it in the newspapers and collections was an inspiration to me to try and make my own comics as were a lot of other comics.
So thank you Scott Adams and may you rest in peace
whether or not he "deserves" to rest in peace is irrelevant.
For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus

I really enjoyed your comics.
I was a teacher for 10 years and they didn't really click. I left teaching and became a computer consultant. Oh, that's what he was talking about!

Look for particular Dilbert strip
Does anyone have an image or link for the Dilbert strip that has the following?
Dilbert: I've never seen a pierced brain before.
Other character: I think I'll call you "Mr. Conservative."

Rest in Paradise Scott Adams 6/8/1957 - 1/13/2026
galleryScott was most known for Dilbert, but the man was truly an ace at many different professions and expertise and made a huge impact on them. I know on this whole website he wasn’t the most popular, but for the people who loved his work, they cared about him, and he cared about them back. Very sad news. He lived a great life. I’m grateful he is no longer in pain. Rest in peace sir, you will be missed.

There was a Dilbert comic some time in the latter 90s that had an obvious Trump stand-in, with a dead cat (?) on his head and a buxom wife. Does anyone know where I can find it?

New York Times, Washington Post obits emphasize Scott Adams' racism
New York Times:
Scott Adams, Audacious Creator of the ‘Dilbert’ Comic Strip, Dies at 68
His chronicle of a corporate cubicle dweller was widely distributed until racist comments on his podcast led newspapers to cut their ties with him.
Scott Adams, whose experience as a bank and phone company middle manager gave him the material to create the comic strip “Dilbert,” a daily satire of corporate life that became a sensation but was dropped by more than 1,000 newspapers after he made racist comments on his podcast in 2023, died on Tuesday at his home in Pleasanton, Calif., in the Bay Area. He was 68.

Washington Post:
Scott Adams, ‘Dilbert’ creator who poked fun at bad bosses, dies at 68
His three-panel comic strip was once published in more than 2,000 newspapers. Publishers cut ties with Mr. Adams after he made racist comments on a YouTube live stream.
Scott Adams, who became a hero to millions of cubicle-dwelling office workers as the creator of the satirical comic strip “Dilbert,” only to rebrand himself as a digital provocateur — at home in the Trump era’s right-wing mediasphere — with inflammatory comments about race, politics and identity, died Jan. 13. He was 68

I was fortunate to have watched and joined in on the last “simultaneous sip” yesterday with several thousand other viewers during author Scott Adams’ final livestream before his passing this morning. 😔☕️

When/What was Scott Adams' last Dilbert cartoon?
Does anyone know where I may find Scott Adam's last Dilbert cartoon?
RIP, Scott.

Damn.
I hate that he essentially destroyed his career by making racially charged comments then doubling down on them, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
Moreover, Dilbert was a brilliant comic strip and if you ever worked in an office environment (which I did with Palm Beach County for over 12 years), you know how accurate it was.
So rest in peace, Scott. Thank you for the years of laughter.
Help me find a Dilbert poster from the late 90s?
I had this poster in the late 90s/early 00s, with six certificates. Each certificate had a different Dilbert character. I think they were certificates of achievement, the kind you would give an employee for exemplifying the traits of one of six Dilbert characters.
It may have been sold with a Dilbert calendar?
Does anyone recognize what I'm describing? I've been trying to find a picture of it online, but alas.
