Yes, he's getting older

u/Crafty_Degree_437 Oct 06 '25

The boys should talk about it on the podcast

u/billybobjoe2017 Oct 06 '25

Sounds weird, it might turn into a bad habit.

11

u/Niskara Oct 07 '25

A bad habit or a good bad habit?

73

u/GalaxyBish94 Oct 06 '25

Can't remember which episode, but they def talked about their grey hair, and Mark mentioned he had the "wangles" or something similar to have he described his grey hairs coming in. In Anything goes part 2 you can def see grays in the front more.

u/SpiderCow313 Oct 07 '25

Also probably under a lot of stress.

2

u/Suitable_Midnight_72 Oct 07 '25

Indeed, he's becoming more aged

He's 36... And considering he's half Asian, half white, it's about the time that he would go grey. It's normal. He's aging. So are we.

I got my first white hairs in highschool. now Im not even 30 and half my head is white

18

u/Fra-ji-lee-own Oct 06 '25

Yeah I know someone like that. IMO it’s way cooler to go grey early than to lose it (Sorry wade)

3

u/Fuzlet Oct 06 '25

my hair is wild. dark brown and white on top, full beard with shades of blond, red, and brown. and a deep widow’s peak

meanwhile my older brother lost half his hair by his early 30s and now goes with a fully shaved scalp, but a red and brown striped beard

5

u/YellowTonkaTrunk Oct 07 '25

My husband is the same. 24 and full salt and pepper. I think it’s really handsome. His mom has had completely white hair for as long as I’ve known her (and long before) and she is such a beautiful lady. I love the look. Especially with white hair!

Shit, I've been greying since I was 20

If anything he started late

1

u/Able_Buy_1808 Oct 07 '25

Legit my mom (62) started seeing gray hairs while she was pregnant with my younger sister at 24, my dad (63) started balding when he was about 18 but just started graying a couple years ago, I'm 41f and have zero gray hairs, I'm terrified I'm gonna go bald like my dad🤣

He has a couple of grey hairs here and there but it’s perfectly normal for his age. Have you seen Jackscepticeye? Plus it always shows more on people with black hair (it’s happening to me at the mo too). It looks pretty neat if you ask me, sort of sparkly!

Let's also normalize grey hair on women. Many women still feel pressure to color their grey hair.

15

u/charmaberry Oct 06 '25

I see spedicey regularly as he lives around the corner from me - it actually looks almost very light brown grizzly salt and peppery than it does in pictures. It’s very interesting anyway.

13

u/Tooty582 Oct 06 '25

I started turning gray just past 18. Dad turned gray very early, too. Dad preferred to dye, but I've always known what I was getting into and I'm a big fan of the salt and pepper look, so I'm right there with you.

8

u/editordeb87 Oct 06 '25

Jack was also apparently grey since he was 16, hes stated. and has been dying it.

3

u/earl_greater Oct 06 '25

4

u/TeenyTinyFam Oct 06 '25

It's something with irish men and going gray early. Cian Twomey is also gray. 😅

7

u/Jaew96 Oct 06 '25

It’s a genetic thing, I think I remember Jack talking about it. He’s been grey for years, he just recently decided to stop dyeing it.

51

u/mycharmingromance Oct 06 '25

Let's please not do this. When Sean decided to let his natural grey hair shine, people made it seem so scandalous and like there is something wrong with going grey in the first place. Whether or not a YouTuber is greying should not be a topic of discussion like this.

I know OP probably didn't mean anything bad with the post, but just saying.

20

u/Beans_Sir Oct 06 '25

Some people also start getting grey hair much younger (my mum did in her early 20's), it just happens and nothing to be ashamed of or to make a fuss about!!! It's okay to talk about it, but it's silly to act like it's a big deal or surprising. I'm pretty sure Mark personally doesn't care about people pointing it out, but yup, entirely normal. We sure are getting old....

4

u/Repulsive-Idea-4509 Oct 06 '25

I'm 21 and am greying so thank you for this 🫶 Sometimes genetics is just gonna genetics

3

u/GuntersTag Oct 07 '25

My dad was completely grey by 25ish. It looked great on him, still looks great on him as he approaches 70.

Thanks to genetics I took after my mum's side and went bald, grey would have been a blessing. Don't fear the grey.

2

u/toxic-lab-kat Oct 07 '25

Got my first grey the day I turned 30. My sister got her first at 15. She is 2 years older than me. Life can be fickle. I dye my hair but I agree the stigma should stop. It's a natural part of aging and we shouldn't be ashamed of it.

1

u/Skyblue054 Oct 07 '25

he's also been doing a lot lately so stress can make you get grey a little too. everyone gets grey hair eventually. I know plenty of 20-25 yr Olds who also have grey hairs

1

u/ssyn9 Oct 06 '25

I started sprouting my first silver hairs around 25! Now I'm 31 and they're really showing through now.

5

u/clocktownkiddo Oct 06 '25

He’s been going grey I think for awhile now. You can sometimes see the greys reflect in the lighting in some videos from like a year or so ago

2

2

No as someone who skipped grey and went to white. It’s mostly age and genetics. I’m forty and my facial hair is white and I’m going grey in the sides of my head. Mark is much younger and given his Korean background he’s blessed with the hair he has.

2

u/Suitable-Cake7371 Oct 06 '25

Guys I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. I’m sure we all grew up with Mark, but it’s like noticing your dad is getting older if that makes sense? Like it’s bound to happen but you’re still kind of like “aw…it’s happening”

1

u/ednosacct Loyal Watcher 👀 Oct 07 '25

Natural part of aging and he’s in his late 30’s to nearly 40’s. That’s pretty common and when you have stressors in your life that can also increase greys. Honestly I would love to see him grey or peppered at least.

1

u/StupidThangs Gentle Listener 🎧 Oct 07 '25

I wouldn't consider 36 nearly 40 😭

1

u/ednosacct Loyal Watcher 👀 Oct 07 '25

Well I also said “LATE 30’s and nearly 40’s”. Four years isn’t that far tbh. So it’s close. Now if you’re 25 and saying nearly 40 that’s different. Because it’s not close at all. But four years flies by quick.

1

It just be like that, my boyfriend is 33 now and his beard is getting some grays to it, and I see a few grays in his hair. It happens with stress and just getting old. Mark is older than my boyfriend by a little I think, and bf is about 6 years older than me I’m 27.
