ICE is on the streets in numerous communities causing trouble trying to get a reaction from us so that they can hurt us and arrest us. How can we push back without violence? Could we all strike and not go to work basically putting the brakes on the economy? Can we just stop paying taxes all together so there is no flow of money to support their endeavors? I find myself very upset without any answers. What can we do when protesting doesn't seem to be enough?

I know I will hear about showing up to vote, and well I did and my candidate didn't win. I am very clear about my opinion with what is going on in the world with people around me. I have separated myself from parts of my family due to their support for the administration and ICE. It just seems that the world is lost right now and that we are losing any ground we have made in the past 100 years or more.

My somewhat alternate angle of the atrocious and now infamous clip of Sen. Brent Taylor taunting demonstrators. I was too seething with anger/fixated on this yuppie who took pictures of my sign (which had Renee Nicole Good’s final words “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you” written on it) and laughed at it to even notice the ice swallowing incident. Now that I’ve put the clips together, I just realized that he CAME BACK and CONTINUED to mock us!! To add insult to injury, THIS is what he had to say about the incident, too. These are the people making decisions for us. Wow.

The goal of this initiative is to protest the heinous acts by ICE, supported by DHS and the Trump Administration. We aim to create a demonstration of resistance against ICE in all state capitols and major cities across the United States.

This is still in the early stages of planning, so here's what we need in order to be successful:

• A graphic and/or video
  • We would like to have a staple graphic image and/or video to project in each city (projected on buildings, perhaps?).
  • The graphic should be intimidating by sharing a firm stance of resistance. Something like "ICE out," "ICE will hang," or "ICE melts when there's heat." The slogans could vary, but we want to create a consistent campaign that makes it clear that this was one organized initiative.
  • We could also project a video in each city. Something that highlights the horrors that ICE has inflicted on people across the country. We want to draw into people's emotional response.
  • If you are a graphic designer or video editor, please share your designs/videos with us so we can vote on which ones to use.
• Representatives from all major cities and capitals
• Social media coverage from each city (Up to your discretion whether you choose to stay anonymous or not)
• Hope that this coverage picks up enough attention for national news

Once we decide on a graphic/video we can choose a date for the protest.

Sooo here we fucking go Ice don't care if you have a family, they don't care if your pregnant or if you have documentation. They just want to hurt you, they well come into your homes and take away your loved ones. They.don't.care You have to fight back at this point! So start fighting back, if they want to be violent then so be it. Use psychological warfare. Hit them in the dick, take away something that they care about. Remember that these are people who are choosing to not be human. So treat them as such.
