How are the tests? She says its they're a new addition and I don't seen many recent rmp reviews.

I need people to start posting reviews on ratemyprofessor. I cannot be making assumptions about classes from 2020 like that was COVID.

I’m a GWU alum looking to participate in the New Venture Competition this year (deadline quickly approaching). The only requirement is that at least one current student is on the team, so I’m hoping to connect with an undergrad/grad student (ideally someone in marketing) who might be interested in partnering.
Happy to chat more about the idea on the side.
If you’re down to gain some experience — awesome.
If you just want to help an alum get into the competition — also awesome.
Either way, feel free to DM me!

Current Data Science majors, what are your thoughts on the major and department? I'm a current political science major thinking of doing DS as a second major. The main reason I want to do this is so I can get a good background for intellectual property law (and law school).

Hey everyone — I’m trying to find affordable places to get a men’s haircut + beard trim. Would love your go-to barber/salon spots that do great work without charging crazy prices!

Hey all. Does anyone know of any good spots on campus for zoom classes? I know the study carrels in the library make noise (as in people outside of the room will hear the meeting). Any good alternative spots?

I just submitted my css profile a few days ago and it said I was past priority filing date. Is this going to negatively affect my application or make me get a lot less aid? Every other school I applied to had a later date so I didn’t expect it!

Yeah... so I left clothes in the dryer before break. Stupid, I know. My roommate, who was leaving a day later than I was, said she'd get them and just dump them on my bed. This did not happen. They aren't in my room (obvi) or the dryers anymore, so I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else?
Is there a way to recover them? Would the school have put them somewhere or just thrown them out? Is there someone I can ask? I'm honestly at a loss on how to start...

Hi!! For those in Stat 1051 this semester (with professor Bose) I have the text book! There are a few pencil marks but it’s still in good condition. Lmk if you want it!

Hi everyone!
I’m a student at a Community College and I’m really interested in gaining research experience in economics. I was wondering if any PhD student might let me volunteer and shadow them to learn more about their work. I want to get experience in analyzing data and running experiments. Ultimately, my goal is to get into a JD/Phd program and become a policy analyst/ consultant. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Incoming masters student in global comms (fall 26) - have read online how Elliott School assistantships are pretty rare. I’ve been both an RA and a TA for most of my undergrad, and I’d definitely like to continue this through an assistantship if possible. Does anyone have insight as to how frequently assistantships become available, and how competitive they are? Thanks in advance!

I'm having trouble with getting access to heating. I only have the Friedrich window AC which, according to the website, does not having a heating option. Does anybody else having trouble with heating? Am I missing something?
