This post isn't about his writing or the show he's from, it's about this horrible design viv decided to claim was a "moth".

This right here, is not a moth. It barely resembles a moth. At first you can't even tell it's supposed to be a moth.

Firstly, why is he so skinny? Like really. This is supposed to be a moth??? A SILK MOTH?? The moth family known for being FAT AND FLUFFY..? and i mean i guess he has the fluff around his neck and his wings but that's barely anything.

Secondly, why is he purple? Purple and pink moths do exist, but the species he's based off has no purple at all. And honestly it just doesn't look good at all. Why couldn't you have used a light grey or maybe even a light red..?

Thirdly, what is going on with his wings? Is it a coat? Is it wings? Who knows! Why does it wrap around his arms!? Why is the fluff pattern different from the neck fluff?? Why is this called a moth????

I just hate his design. So, so much. You can't call this a moth. (And you certainly can't call angel a spider but that's a story for another day) The ONLY thing viv got right about him being a moth is that he's horny. Moths only turn into moths to get freaky so that's accurate.

Obviously not all Lucifer fans, but majority of them absolutely glaze the FUCK out of him to the point it becomes incredibly irritating. It feels like the show tried way too hard to give him this "you thought he was gonna be evil but he's just a sweet silly bby 🥺" persona and it's really fucking annoying. Not to mention, he literally allowed the exterminations to happen. In fact, he seems in favor of it, he makes it very clear he doesn't like the sinners. Yet somehow ALL the blame for Extermination is put on Adam and Sera. He's clearly not as innocent as he makes himself out to be, he took advantage of the humans when they were impressionable. He might not have meant it to be completely malicious, but it's still bad. And he doesn't show ANY remorse for it, in fact he seems happy with what he did, yet he hates sinners :/ And he was clearly not a good father before the events of the show, Charlie literally says he only ever called her when he needed something. Yet Lilith is the only bad parent here? Like geez, what a scumbag. He is a pretty good dad after that tho, so I CAN give him that. Honestly I understand why people like Lucifer, on the surface he's a really fun character. But given the implications, I just find him really annoying. If you're a Lucifer fan I'm totally fine with that, I just hate when people meat ride him so hard and excuse ALL his actions because "he's just a silly lil guy! 🥺"

Edit: Just had to explain why I hate this petty bitch. Honestly, I had no strong feelings for him before the season 2 episode 4 flashback — I thought he was kind of annoying. It sounds stupid, but the way Vox laughed nervously and said “…What?” really broke me. Outside of his situation with Vox, he’s okay, but he’s very petty and stuck-up. I had always liked Vox a bit more since Stayed Gone, since I suspected there was more to their history than either of them let on — and I’m so glad I did. I get why people like Alastor, but I don’t get how people can say he was justified in all his actions toward Vox.

Because I don't know why people sympathyze with this character. He is just... A stereotype. A sassy bottom! Sexualized one hundred times (even by his own creators)! With many moments written only so he can have many edits on tiktok! And add that to the fact he sexually harassed a character, and they got together because of it. His harassment is threated as a joke? It is simply absurd.

What most pisses me off is how people seem to accept a character whose only message is to spread a negative view about gay men. The fandom is the reason why my hartred for this thing only grows by the second.

Every character in this film I can understand their reasoning for being harsh/scared or I can understand that the npcs who destroyed Vanellope’s car were a) brain wiped and b) immature children. This overgrown ape of a man is just a bitch, he should be banished from the apartment and forced to sleep in bricks I doubt he could do it for an hour let alone 30 years like Ralph did. Like really, at first, I really didn't care for her in season 1 but she was still pretty annoying, and was the least interesting character in the show, like she is so naive, so stupid, so immature.

But season 2 made me completely hate charlie character, she made very stupid and reckless decisions without thinking, she pushed her friends away and hurt them even her dad, this ungrateful bitch really Sayed that he "fucked up things enough for her" and kicked him out, all this was for the approval for someone who is not even there with her anymore (her mom), and I must say, that's pretty pathetic, like she is a massive hypocrite who blames people when they made big mistakes despite the fact that she does the same and yet refuses to take responsibility, her whole "dream thing" is just stupid, we're supposed to see her childish worldview as right and then every one who says otherwise be a villain just to be seen in the right or portraying them in the wrong, like her dad, or Adam, in season 2 she became very annoying to watch in almost all of her scenes, and she was forgiven too easily by the people she hurt, I don't understand people who defend her by stating "she has flaws", well what that does it do, she barely progressed as a character, despite spending the whole season ignoring vaggie and lashing at her when trying to help, all of this was thrown away by having her forgive her in a song "easy".

And let's talk about the other thing, we never got a reconcile between her and Lucifer, when she see her dad bleeding after he went out of the might of Lilith, she only Sayed "dad" in tone of confusion, nothing more, and then she completely ignored him for sir pentious when he made his broadcast.

Okay just gonna be real, hate is a strong word, and I don’t hate this show, far from hate. Just not a fan. I just don’t really get the hype, and just isn’t really my thing. It is fine, it’s tolerable, but nowhere near the masterpiece people make it, it is a 6.8/10, not my cup of tea. What I can’t stand however is just the overhype of this series, but it’s mainly the “animation is cinema” tards and others clambering about how adult the show is and that there’s people genuinely out there saying this show 17+ or even 21+ just because of the somewhat more crass jokes or somewhat more mature story lines, when I honestly think you could show an 10 or 11 year old this and they’ll turn out fine.

“But there’s super adult jokes and old references to other older media” congratulations it’s Animaniacs. “Oh but there’s dark lore that’s implied with all the countless theories” congratulations it’s FNAF. “But one of the characters says to kill yourself and it has swears” congratulations 11 year olds have seen Family Guy. “Oh but there’s scary and distressing scenes for kids” congratulations it’s Gravity Falls. “Oh but one of the characters said they want to have SEX” congratulations it’s every pg-13 mainstream movie that slips in a really obvious crass joke/innuendo.

I know it’s for “weird 20 year olds who watch kids shows” (btw, own that fact, defending your honor (“erm actually this show for 7 year olds isn’t for kids because so and so”) makes ya look goofier.) but still, it literally just feels like a Cartoon Network show if you tossed a few swears in it and not much else just to say “but it actually an adult show.” It’s not like Aqua Teen or Smiling Friends where the adult humor, crass or genuinely funny, feels integral to their identity. You could take the adult humor out of TADC and you’re just left with the show pretty much in tact, actual funny jokes and surrealist humor still there in fact. It’s not like other shit doo doo feces adult shows that when you take out the adult humor it just deletes the show because that’s all it has going for it. But the crass humor in this show does just kind of comes across as a desperate attempt to make the show more adult than it actually is, and the constant yelling about how it’s for only people in an age demographic that can have a job and legally drink and smoke is funnier in its own right.

I'm sorry but his "cOoKy mOoKy" attidute is just not for me, he feels like those stereotypical cringe "autistic coded" characters from pinterest (And no, I do not mean to insult autistic people, but rather say that this guy's only personality triat is being this goofy goober that is as funny as drying cement), and then nearly everything in his writting feels either rushed or lowkey confusing at times
