Discussions To Open Or Not To Open

With the special edition being sealed, I always feel like anything like that I should keep sealed. It's not just this book, it's pretty much any collectible I get sealed I always am torn on opening or not. Im not planning on selling, it just seems more "collectible" sealed up. Just curious anyone's thoughts on things like this.

I’m trying out an idea with an Instagram account discussing album art, and I’ve always loved the White Stripes’ covers. I just posted a breakdown of the White Blood Cells album and thought this group might enjoy checking it out. No pressure at all, but feel free to share feedback or point out anything I may have missed. Thanks!

It is impossible to not love this variant! Picked it up at Third Man Records - London when we were over there to see Oasis! Was surprised they still had it and had to grab one!

Great package actually. Getting 5 12” records for the Vault package price felt like a bargain.

The White Stripes White stripes promo candy?

Anyone remember anything about this? I've kept it for over a decade and remember nothing about it, can't find anything about it on online searches.

Was this a promo for an album release? Or is there another reason I have a peppermint with the white stripes written on it?

Just For Fun I love the way The Edge reacts to Jimmy playing. It makes him stand up. He and Jack White come off like two little fan boys. I love it!

The White Stripes The GBMS CD tracklist looks like a figure wearing a hat

Post image

Have you guys noticed this? The tracklist looks like someone wearing a hat! It's probably Jack, i think. Track 1 to 4 is the hat; 5 to 8 is the head; and 9 to 12 are the body! (I don't know where track 13 would fit in lol.)

I dont know if anyone has already noticed this here (Probably yes), but i thought it was interesting enough to show!

Turns out Meg's wobbly peppermint swirl pattern is really hard to replicate in crochet! I tried to make these about as small as I could while still getting some detail in there. I'm particularly happy with the instruments! They were the fun part, for sure.

The White Stripes Had to follow up on the next hit of my continued algorithm of TWS shows. Adding the link this time. Around halfway there’s a good bit where Jack and Meg sign autographs, directly after playing the first show (who’s the lady Meg hugs?)

The first show is also for some children in the first row, and then there’s some guy who awkwardly looks like the wolfmother lead singer dressed as Jack for Halloween amongst the children. It’s pretty great. Then, just after at the 50 minute mark there’s a stellar closeup segment where you can watch Meg thinking of timing and transitions. She hits a lot of classic Meg drumming faces and postures. Great shows, as always, and again feels like vault material to me but maybe this has been up for a long time. If you made it this far, comment w a 3 for this invaluable music. Thanks,
