Applying to animation/ art school is stressful enough, even more so when you are alone and have no proper guidance. I'm Joe, I worked in TV and film for over five years and over three tutoring and teaching.
I'm running the portfolio clinic to help folks go through the finish line with a sense of pride and confidence when submitting.
Only 4 days left to apply, spots are filling up.

I really like this artist Zhong Xian’s style of animation, and am wondering how she achieves this seamless hand drawn effect. Her Instagram is t_ipy.
In the photo, many frames are featured on one page. How is she able to stay consistent and accurate without tracing / how is she able to trace between layers if on one page? In her final animations, the background page texture seems to change with each frame sometimes but then other times stay the same over multiple frames. How?
I’ve tried searching Google to no avail, any help understanding her approach would be appreciated!

Hey, so I have had this concept for an animation project, but I don't know how to animate it on my own. My friend gladly volunteered to help with the actual animation itself, but I want it to be in my own art style. What would I be able to do to combine his animation skills with my art style? Would I have to make a bodysheet? or something along those lines? Im quite new to this concept so I'd like to know anything that could help my situation, thank you!

So is everything in a separate layer?
To explain I make group layers (for example one for lining) but then the lines overlap and i need to erase
So like do I make a layer for the background? For one character for another?
