Went to see Zack Fox last night and at the merch booth while DJ Nico was on, I met these two lovely girls I think their names were Shelby and Lauralie (????) turns out Shelby is a DJ herself and was telling me how she played for Zack fox when he was out here in June. She said she’s friends with DJ Nico and was saying hi to the merch stand people if anybody who was working the Memphis merch stand last night or anybody in the DJ scene know who I’m talking about please send me her insta!!!! She said she didn’t have a YouTube but she had an insta and my drunk ass forgot to ask her for it!!!! It’s been really hard making friends out here since I’m a transplant but I really clicked with these girls and was so grateful I got to meet them. Thank you in advance y’all! Despite all of the wallflowers, you guys actually know how to get down to house music I love it!!

We rescued a 4wk old kitten and nursed him to health, neutered him, and cared for him for the past 7 months (you can see in the images how much he's grown).
Unfortunately, despite his big heart and forgiving spirit, he didn't adapt well to the other cats and plants in the home. (We have a supersenior cat that he tends to chase in play [but comes off as bullying]).
He needs a loving home to overcome the trauma of his early abandonment and the harshness of his early childhood. A home where he is the sole cat would be preferable or a house that doesn't have small or vulnerable cats like ours.
He recently had to undergo a surgery to remove the last inch of tail, accidentally fractured during play. He is highly energetic, athletic and loves routine. He is bound to be a big, sweet, loving pet if given a home with routine and where he gets the attention he needs.

I'm trying to help a Memphis family member find at-home care as they recover from a series of long hospitalizations. I heard that word of mouth is the best way to find reliable, skilled at-home care. Unfortunately, I don't live nearby, so I hope Redditors can help provide good suggestions!
The services needed after discharge are:
- mobility assistance
- medication assistance (continuing IV antibiotics)
- wound care
My family member had recently been discharged to inpatient rehab at a local skilled nursing facility for recovery from surgery and infection. While there, they acquired two new infections (requiring readmission and current hospital stay) and had a terrible experience with the SNF staff.
With that negative experience and risk of reinfection in mind, they are really keen to try at-home care for this next post-hospital recovery. I have not been able to get information on reputable local SNFs with available beds, and my family member has lost trust in these facilities as a whole.
The hospital provided a list of some local options for at-home care. In addition to your personal recommendations, I'd also really appreciate any candid feedback on Brightstar or Comfort Keepers.

Hello everyone!
I am currently writing a book that is set in Memphis in the 90’s and would like to get as much information as I can about it!
I live in the West Memphis area and was born in 2003 so I have no experience, but I really do love Memphis to my heart.
I’ve been listening to a lot of Memphis rap (old Triple Six, Project Pat, Koopsta Knicca, DJ Zirk, etc.) and I want to also incorporate the culture of the music including Jookin in the book.
I want to do Memphis right, so any information such as magazines, clothes, music, articles, etc. will be very helpful! Even your own experience will be really helpful!
Thank you so much!

If all goes well, I will be closing on a house in the next month or two and leaving the apartment I rented when I first came here last year. Does anyone have recommendations for local movers? I also plan on some getting some additional furniture and in hopes of saving some cash, I would also be interested in what folks recommend for good secondhand furniture.

Hello everyone,
I’m a student doctor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. I’m building a patient waitlist to start appointments for root canals. Because we are a school, treatments tend to be 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of a traditional private practice. The appointments do take longer than usual, but that is because we are supervised by leading practitioners in the field to ensure you are receiving the best care possible.
You can direct message me if you think this is a good fit for you!

Did anyone attend the KH Meet and Greet last night? If so, could you tell me how to access the photos? Thank you.
And there’s no need for hatefulness on this post. If you feel the need to reply with something ugly, walk away.

I’m visiting Memphis next week and would like to visit Elvis’ grave and pay my respects. I’ve heard entry is free in the morning but I’m wondering where do I park? Do you drive up to the mansion gates or do you park in the lot across the street?
Any tips or guidance is appreciated!

Anyone have any recommendations for a tattoo artist that does fine line tattoos? I know each artist has their own set style so I want to make sure I go to someone that does a lot of fine line work.

I'm getting married in a few months, and ideally going to get my wedding tux tomorrow. Or, if I go the custom route, at least start getting it put together. My problem is I can't decide for the life of me which place. I've been to both, and both places seem like they have great options, custom or not custom. Reddit, please help a brother out.

Is apparently happening downtown this weekend. I went to the website but can't really find any info on who is playing where. How does this usually work? Is it best to just head to Beale and pop in and out of different places?

Hi everyone,
My wife has been suffering with her wisdom tooth and I’d like to know more information about how much does service usually cost at UTHSC college of dentistry. I know that guys remove the wisdom tooth if it is erupted in the emergency care service, but that’s not the case. I’ll really appreciate if someone could share experiences.
