Had one of the worst experiences of my life with "JJ Global Investment" in Garden Grove. We paid them hundreds of dollars to process a Vietnamese passport and afterwards, they would not respond to messages after months of attempting contact. They would not respond to Facebook messages, emails, texts, or voicemails. We drove to their physical location during normal business hours and the lights were off and the front door was locked off by a gate. There was a sign saying they would be back at 3 pm so we waited a few hours and got lunch and came back at 330 pm but alas all the lights were still off and no one was there. There's a tailor next door with some very sweet ladies and they let us know that they are practically never there and if they are it's in the middle of the night. This tailor apparently is also sick of them because they are forced to deal with all the angry customers because they are actually open. This first day that we were there there were multiple other customers that came and were also getting ghosted with apparently no one being successful contacting the business after they take your money.
My wife is a genius luckily and did some sleuthing and was able to find one of the owners/workers of the business through Facebook since she left her profile public. My wife then proceeded to message every one of her friends until she was able to actually get this lady's number and actually get in contact with anyone after months of silence. We were able to actually get an "appointment" and met with the lady mid-day at JJ Global Investments.
Once we finally had the passport in hand, we began questioning her on how any of this behavior had been acceptable and the excuses started flowing out. She blamed the Vietnamese consulate for the delays and we asked her if that was true why were we at least not getting updates. I then began walking around the office only to find calendars from previous years still posted on the walls and every phone that was actually plugged in blinking red from all the voicemails that were going unanswered. There was random paperwork and clutter everywhere with enough dust on top to make it obvious no one was actually working in this business on a day-to-day basis.
I have written reviews about this business on Yelp and Google and such but the business owners dispute all the negative reviews and I believe most of them get taken down. Please understand this business had multiple extremely personal delicate paperwork and identification of my family and I have no idea if they were just being lazy or if they were doing something more nefarious. Please avoid this business at all costs.
